Britain is no longer British, I am an American and I lived there for a little while. I returned to the UK and was shocked at what I saw.
It is not racist to want to defend your borders, language and culture.
I am concerned because I am of British extraction, I used to live there and I liked it and I see the UK as a microcosm of the US. A lot of things that happened in the US, looking at the UK is almost like getting a five year look ahead at the US and I do not like what I see. |

Hi I understand your thoughts on this but I dont think you should call us scum or muppets. I came here over 20 years ago because I was unable to get anything in my own country, employment, dole, university. This is Ireland Im talking about. Until about 4 -5 years ago there were virtually no foreigners where I lived and everyone knew everyone else and their business too. Some people seemed to be able to get everything, the same ones all the time and they still do. Im wondering how it would work like this. Now we think that the reason that alot of people got nothing and had to leave over the last 20 years is because they were paving the way for others to come in and get jobs and education. We suddenly have shortages of skils that only others can fill and they get entry to universities easily too when it is impossible for some. This supports business, particularly supermarkets, transport, and the property industry but not those getting very little. So I put it down to the globalisation of countries and government choice that support it. I have noticed alot of Spanish around recently too because they cant get anything in Spain but there are thousands of people moving there in the last few years. I have heard the Polish say that they moved out of Poland because they couldnt get anything but there seems to be plenty for those that have moved into Poland from the non accession countries. Its a global system but where will it end and who will stop it. I know from speaking to some asylum seekers that I am alot more persecuted here than they have been. They appear to have education and good jobs before they come here. The first thing they want to do when they get their passport is go visit their country. I think if the persecution was that bad they would avoud their own country even to meet their family. |

The closure of our borders to vast hordes of illegals I agree, should have been implemented a long time ago.Our country needs immigrants , but we should be in the position of allowing only, the ones who can benefit this country <and no others>, Other countries have long applied this ruling, why should we be any different? |

im sick of seeing this question, its on here at least 5 times a day...
a lot of people dont know the real FACTS before making statements like that. people here are too quick to critisise how foreign people live and how they run their country before looking at the state of this country, hooded gangs ruling the streets, high crime rate, shambolic NHS waiting lists, it goes on and on |

So you think every foreigner gets a house and a car, so you get persecuted in work go to the trade union in your work place then. That is what trade unions are for to protect you. As for persecution in work I doubt you have people come up to you with AK47's in work and threaten to blow your head off. |

Yes I think Britain should close the borders for foreigners or make it harder to get into the UK like America and Australia and other countries. To go to Australia or America you need to have money behind you as well as employment, this is what Britain should be doing. We have a lot of foreigners where we live and our GP surgery is always fully booked and the hospitals are full. I think if you have worked in the UK and have paid NI and taxes you should be in titled to the benefits that are on offer but not if you have just came to the UK this is unfair on the people who were born here and have worked here as well. Britain is far to soft with the foreigners the Government need to stop worrying about other countries and take care of its own as soon there are not going to be many born and breed Brit's living in the UK . |

I think we should close up our borders, simply because we can't take everyone in. However to all those scum who are complaining about these immigrants, can I just say that the only difference between you and an immigrant is that you was lucky ebough to be born in this country, everyone has the right to want the most out of life, and all they want is a better life, why don't YOU also concentrate on your own life, and stop blaming others for your shitness. And to the american who complained about losing the american culture to immigrants; for **** sakes, all americans are immigrants, that land use to be run by indians. Oh and to howsinthenight33, the word you're looking for is "deport" not "abort" you thick ****. |

I would not call them scum except for the criminal immigrants who have targeted the UK and filled out jails but:
We British have made the biggest mistake in 1000 years of UK history in allowing a 2,000,000 Muslim community to take residence in the UK. Not on racist grounds, Islam is not a race. The Islamic ideological differences will not adapt to the western way of life in another 1000 years. The other problem is that Muslim people have nowhere to return to because there is not a single Islamic country which provides a modern way of life; I cannot see why we UK people should be asked to use our old culture to provide a modern lifestyle for those with such a different ideology. |

Yep, perhaps a little harsh. But i can understand your feelings. My father worked all his life, lost his pension due to banks etc. and his house, so he now rents a crappy house after loseing his own. Went to try and get social housing and was told he wasnt entitled as he didnt have enough points. Single parents, ethic homeless from the EU were all infront of him.. He is waiting for an operation in an endless queue of others, ethnic EU members in equal position. How is this fair as he has paid all his taxes, NI contributions etc... Time to realise the fact that GB is no longer Great and doesnt owe people from other countries anything. Then perhaps GB might become a little better to live in. |
