Ok its official.half on you have become heartless.how can you honestly say that you would deny someone ER.I mean they are HUMAN! remember 10 fingers,10 toes the whole digestives system put in there.I agree that many go without paying for it but as I have stated time and time again,DO IT FOR EVERYONE!How many other families of different nationalities including those that are american citizens figure its better to go to the ER and then skip out on their bills. And btw doctors are not border control, they take an oath to help cure the sick regardless of anything including their legal status. That's like saying that police officers shouldn't check out crimes if they believe that the person calling them in is illegal. You all claim do this do that but then whine when an epidemic of flu or something else breaks out.Have you thought what would happen if what you all want actually happened? All those people would still be around and who knows what they would be carrying, but hey that's ok I mean you would have money in your pocket right? What's an outbreak of measels or chicken pox to having a couple of bucks in your pocket. |

Yes, I think it should. Why - well becuase you don't really think an Illegal is going to pay their health care bill do you? They obviously will not have insurance which means the hospital eats the bill and passes the costs unto those who pay their bills and have insurance. That is why health care is so expensive and why insurance rates are so high in this country. Illegals should be denied all social services including children going to school. I am tired of paying for someone who broke into this country! |

Emergency care should be given to anyone who needs it. But when they stabalize, they should be deported.
The idea that it is somehow 'unfair' to enforce our laws is insane. |

I would be the last person to deny any person any life threating medical help, however I feel that illegals should be reported just like GSW's, and deported. |
|

duh

no. but they can wait behind those that are legal and are paying taxes and are paying their medical bill with their own money and insurence. |

your premise implies health care needs improving? and no illegal immigrants should not be denied access to health care, they should be deported, and then any medical emergencies they require can be provided by their respective countries. |

no. there human but make them pay for there treatment. the illegals are costing u.s. taxpayers 10 billion thats billion with a b in money for no health insurance. the hospitals and taxpayers have to eat the charges. if a illegal has a child here we pay for everything for the mother and child and sometimes for the father. |

If they dont have an emergency than yes, but if it is an emergency no. The problem with ER is that illegals use it as a free doctors office when the kid has a cold or diahrea and dont pay. |

HELL YEAH!!!!! Unless it's a life-threatening emergency, then they should be DENIED any and every access to medical care!!! This INCLUDES having their kids here. Having kids is NOT an emergency,so they should be denied medical care!!!!!! |

No, if it's an emergency, but if it's for something minor turn them away.(colds, sinus problems..minor stuff) And for those that do get medical attention, the INS needs to be called and have them deported...follow up care needs to be done by their home countries. |

I think all services should be denied to illegals. Why should we have to pay for their health care? for schooling for their children? I do agree that we should be humanitarian, but not at the expense of our chlidren and their future. Healthcare already takes anough money out of our pockets as it is. Allowing illegals to continue to use healthcare that your tax dollars pay for will only make it worse. It is not a question of imporving healthcare at this point. It is an issue of Americans being divided over whether to allow illegals to continue to take advantage of a system under which they technically have no right to be protected. They are not citizens and thus should be afforded no rights to the benefits of citizenship. In no other country on this planet would amensty and illegal aliens be an issue. |

Absolutely deny the ILLEGALS access to all social services. It would improve health care by 1) not having to again deal with diseases from 3rd world countries that the US had under control 2) not having to pay for spanish speaking hospital staff 3)hospitals could concentrate on the truly sick instead of using hospitals for non-emergencies 4)open up maternity wards to people having babies every 2 or 3 years instead of every 9 months & 1 day. I could go on & on...
No Amnesty (by any name)
Attrition thru Local, State & Federal Enforcement
Repeal the 14th amendment |

Yes!! Illegals should be denied at the ER. It would improve health care because then our ER's would not be so overcrowded and people with real emergencies would be able to get the fast attention they need instead of having to wait because the doctors are so busy trying to treat minor issues that illegals have come in for because they have no insurance and can't pay to go to a clinic like everyone else! |

They should only be offered ER service if they can prove that they can pay for their bill, in full, up front. No freebies. |

Yes, in non emergency care situations. If you have cut off your hand, this is an emergency. If you have a cold and can't pay for an office visit, this is not. This would improve health care for AMERICANS because hospitals would not have to eat the cost of free illegal care, and thereby passing it on to the American patient. Compare health care bills on the border with those from a place not so biesieged by illegal immigration. You will be SHOCKED at the difference. |

No. It is a violation of the intent of the Hippocratic Oath to turn away a patient in need. However, in the case of illegal aliens I believe they should either pay for the service or be deported when they are healthy enough to go.
If you want to improve health care, stop the "quota" requirements on patients per hour a doctor must see to accept given health insurance. Rushing the doctors only increases the risks of misdiagnosis and dehumanizes the patient-doctor relationship. |

last I checked illegal immigrants were still humans. So kill people because they are better and smarter workers? |

It would stop hospitals from shutting down and it would be less expensive for citizens of this country to go to the doctor. Illegals drive down are wages and drive up our medical bills. |
