Should I Apply to jobs before my working visa arrives?

I was planning on handing out resumes tomorrow, for a summer job, but my working visa won't be in for another 2 weeks. Is it okay to hand out my resumes and start work in the summer when I will have my visa, will employers understand? or should i wait until i get my visa to hand them out?

I really do not know where you plan to get a work visa.
For most countries you need to have an employer willing to instate you before you may apply for a working visa.

I would look now..finding a job can take a while. Just add to your resume the date you will be available to begin work. Most of the time it can take several weeks for an employer to sort through resumes/applications before they find the right person |

Well, I don't mean to burst your bubble or anything, but it will be super hard to find a job right now, I've been trying. "The Recession" crap is effen retarded.
I know yall are tired of hearing about it, but I dar you to go out and try finding a job, its real tough, but good luck. Don't wait. |
