Should I put Yes to this Question on my I-485 If im a military wife?

Have you ever received public assistance in the United States from any source. Including the U.S goverment or Any state, county, city, or municipality( other than emergency medical treatment) or are you likely to receive asuch assistance in the future?

I am currently married to an E-3 in the Navy... I do have a military I.D and I am enrolled in tricare prime. If I do say yes would i make this my reason?

No, they are talking about welfare assistance or programs like that provided by the state or feds. Good Luck with your application and welcome to the U.S.

The compensation your husband receives for military service is not assistance. Compensation, such as Tricare, is received in return for his work. Assistance, on the other hand, is given to a person without regard to prior work.
