1. The word "illegal" makes all the difference. They are living here illegally and if they are not in the process of becoming a legal citizen, then they should be going home.
2. The USA clinics and hospitals should only help the illegal immigrants that are true emergencies and when treatment is over, they should be bussed back over the border.
3. If an illegal has a baby in the USA, the baby and and mother should be bussed back to Mexico. Our clinics and hospitals know they aren't going to pay the bill but they should be allowed to be citizens just because they are born here. A baby should only be a US citizen if the parentS are legal citizens. |

Yes, and for my first point, ITS ILLEGAL. That alone should help your decision. I mean, if something's against the law, action must be taken. We can't let people come here who don't follow the same rules that everyone has to. They can come once they have legally been documented as a citizen and show the ability to learn english and learn about our history.
Also, if they're coming up illegally and no action is taken, they will only come more because they'll see that they won't get into trouble for sneaking into the country. And if more of them come illegally, that will only make things worse. Our country is already bursting at the seams with population right now.
Plus, they are taking jobs and money that belongs only to people that are legally earning it. I'm not racist, I wouldn't mind if a Mexican had a job as long as he was legal. That doesn't bother me. Anyone who comes into this country illegally doesn't deserve to earn a living with jobs that belong to others. |

I don't like the idea of people being here that are afraid of their identity being known.
They are saturating the job market with unskilled labor and driving the wages down on the lowest paid jobs.

Equality - I don't think we should limit immediate deportation to just Mexicans. Get them all.
Financial - they do not pay taxes on their earnings.
Health - They are not screened for disease or immunized.

while i sympathize with people trying to make a better life... yes. stealing is stealing, no matter how tough your life is. an illegal immigrant may not be the type of person to walk into a store and shoplift, but they don't pay taxes, causing us to pick up the slack for a lot. they also get free medical care. well, let me tell you- nothing's free. my higher costs when i go to the doctor cover that. when we go to the ER ( once was for a painful miscarriage) we often wait behind illegal immigrants with a cough.
this being said, i'm not racist. i welcome anyone who comes here legally. all of my cousins are mexican, and so was one of my best friends growing up- but they worked hard to do it right.
everyone is responsible for their actions. the law is the law. i would expect to be treated the same if the situation was reversed. no matter how bad i felt about my living situation, i wouldn't do something illegal to fix it, because of my moral values |
