Since most of it's citizens are already here and the lights they left on at home are bankrupting their government, should we bail them out and make them the newest state?

No. States were meant to be able to govern themselves to a degree. Mexico is incapable of governing itself. Corruption is rampant at all levels... from top political figures to the drug wars in the street. |
