What a crock! People don't value what they get easily. I've lived in countries in the Middle East and Africa that are poorer and more corrupt than Latin America, so why should illegal aliens get a break just because they come here illegally? In fact, who MADE the countries you came from so unbearable? A civil war is by definition among the citizens of a country. If you won't stop yourselves, how can anyone else? Why should anyone else? |

Well here's the way i look at that. If other countries don't do it than we shouldn't. If other countries were so lenient towards american citizens i'd be ok well maybe. But they're not. If an american citizen enters another country illegally your *** is put in jail, you are most likely mocked & mugged (sometimes even raped). Hell the best thing they do to you is deport you. If we were to do this it would have to be an international thing. Unlike many i'm not against an international government with international laws. Maybe it's because i'm not so paranoid about "the antichrist" as everybody else. But if other countries won't do that with us why should we do it with them. |

Amnesty encourages more illegal aliens to try to jump on the band wagon.
Those who are already coming here, sometimes across several borders for thousands of miles won't change their minds because the US makes it a little tougher for them to cross our border.
The only real deterrent to illegal immigration is to prosecute those who hire illegals and imprison them, as well as getting rid of the free services to the illegals and adding a requirement of legal status of the mother, for granting citizenship to a child that is born in this country. |
