Should i move from US to AU?

Offer of a Lifetime..Me(19), my boyfriend(21), and Step-daughter(4) just got offered to move to Australia. If we move there all we have to do is take care of some rental properties. We get to live rent free and get paid $50,000 a year. I want to do it but not sure if it is a good idea. Are the schools good? What is it like There? Am i going to get a complete culture shock? I have a big decision to make.. Thank you to everyone who replies to this question.

Most definitely, I soo want to move there. Take it while the opportunity is there, If not let me go. I am looking into moving to Perth, West Australia, but there are so many requirements.

better check to see if that job will qualify you to move to australia, immigration is limited to skilled workers in an occupation australia needs and i cant see looking after rentals being one

There is no way you'll get a visa that will allow you to do that. It is impossible to get a visa for Australia unless you have formal qualifications and experience in an occupation listed as being in need of workers and you're both too young to have any chance of qualifying. Visas are not available to do the type of 'job' you have in mind.

Our schools are good but you would have to pay very expensive international fees and as soon as the school saw that you had no visas allowing you to be legally in Australia, you would be reported to immigration and deported.

if it were me i would do it in a heart beat. but if you are planning on being there for quite some time i would check out where you are going first. you can probably find out more about it on the internet. but if you have contacts there i would try them first. i don't exactly know what the school system is like down there myself. but it does sound like a good offer.
