Deported. It is unethical to stay in a nation that you are considered illegal. You cannot own business, apply for Social Security (you cannot file taxes). You cannot legally work in the US. There are consequences for illegal aliens in the United States. One may be sent to jail or deported to their original country upon a legal order from the government officials. It is not fair to the legal aliens who are fulfilling his/her responsibilities ethically than aliens who aren't legal.

Giving them amnesty and allowing them to stay is not a good signal to put out. Explain that to your children, why some criminals get to break the law and be rewarded.
