No, legal immigration should be encouraged. When more people come into a city or town, it creates opportunity. That's why this country is so big and great. We had a huge influx of immigrants with new ideas that helped grow our economy. Stopping that would be suicide for our economy.......

Yes, till we get control of our borders and get our economy back on track. The bad illegals can hide in with the legals and no one will ever know there here. We all know our some races of people house in clusters. like in mexico where there beheading people . Who is to say there not sneaking in to do harm to us as well as sell there drugs . American people have always been to trusting of others and now is the time to question our judgment of people. when our immigration policies that are written on the statue of Liberty were written. They never had to deal with the numbers of bad people we do today.

There are over 11 million Americans out of work. Yes ALL immigration needs to be stopped. What ever jobs are not filled by Americans visas can be issued.

EDIT: it is ridiculous to bring in over 100,000 workers every month when there are no jobs available, and you wouldn't bring in 100,000 workers if there are only 100 jobs available.
There need to be a strict limit on visas, visas only for jobs available.

I do not know about everybody else but deciding to leave them alone or making them back go back has nothing to do with the question "should LEGAL immigration be stopped?"

Stopping them would be done before they entered the country.

Yes. We should stop the 1.5 million legal immigrates per year, and deport all illegals, until the unemployment rate drops.

This is kind of a silly question, Im assuming by its simplicity this is for no more than a 4th grade project so heres a simple answer, Immigration is necessary, everyone unless they are native american is an immigrant or has immigrant ancestry...yes they should stay.

If you are here illegally, then get out of America. We only want people that come her LEGALLY. There are proper channels to get to America LEGALLY. If you don't have the proper papers, That makes it a crime. GET OUT!!!!!! That's my opinion. Hope you enjoy it.
