Ok, you gave your reasons for, now I'll give mine for against it:
1. American taxpayers can't afford to support them all
2. It would deprive even more actual american's out of work.
3. We have enough racial tensions in this country without adding mexican's to the mix
4. I refuse to learn Spanish (and they have already shown that they shouldn't have to learn English) so what? a civil war over language? No thanks, I'll pass.
5. I don't want their drug suppliers to have easier access to our children.
and most importantly:
WE DON'T WANT THEM OR THE PROBLEMS THAT WOULD COME WITH IT.

Even though you obviously didn't have any thought process when you asked this question, I am taking the opportunity to answer it.:

We can't assimilate the at least 12 million illegal immigrants that are here now. They are currently costing the US taxpayers $135 billion to $400 billion annually. What if we had to assimilate at least 60 million more of these uneducated, unskilled, people who don't speak our language and for the most part, don't want to? What if they are all eligible for Medicaid, food stamps and free education with free breakfasts and lunches for their children? Who pays for it? How many more police do you think the taxpayers can afford?

Please don't mention Puerto Rico and their automatic US citizenship. Their population is 4 million, Mexico's is 100 million.

we have already ceded more rights to Mexico, than given to any of the states...the administration asks Mexico to review,comment on our laws...has even petitioned the congress for revision of laws...that the Mexican government finds offensive. For the rest of us,if the lobbyists fail to keep us informed;go try to make heads or tails of the Federal Register.

i am a legal mexican who does not agree with this. mexico's economy is low but higher than guatemala's economy. the united states doesnt need a country that has a low economy to be part of them. some mexicans leave mexico to have a better life and i understand them, but how are us mexicans suppose to make mexico a better place if we just leave it. us mexicans are always wishing that mexico will change but are we doing something about it? no. in my opinion, we should change the constitution, have a better government that isnt corupt, and we should all stay and make peace with america like it should have years ago. and i believe that puerto rica should have more rights than they do.
