Should the Mexicans build a wall to keep American guns away from their drug cartels?

Since it's now clear that Mexican drug gangs and cartels have been stockpiling weapons that they bought from U.S. gun dealers, should they do something about it? Sending in the Mexican Air Force to bomb the U.S. gun dealerships would be a very extreme response, but wouldn't it be reasonable for the Mexican government to build a solid wall to keep the American guns away from their drug gangs, which are growing in violent tendencies day by day?

Mexico and the US are sharing a profitable drug industry from both sides of the border, therefore it's in the interest of neither to 'bomb' any aspect of business.

By all means build a wall. They should do their damnest to keep their problems over there. Perhaps if they hadn't been spending decades letting their corrupt, inept police force (where many officers can't even read or write) - http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4332183.stm - stagnate and actually tried to create jobs for their people instead of shoving their poorest off on the U.S. then the drug cartels wouldn't find it so friggen easy to find thousands of desperately poor people willing to work for them.
