Should the United States grant amnesty to undocumented immigrants already living and working in the country?

YES!....and only to those in good standing of coarse!

They are a big part in our economy and work force now. Getting rid of them during this recession will only take us down farther. Illegal immigrants pay taxes (Billions per year), and are consumers that make Billions in purchases every year to. Without the taxes they pay, we wouldn't have Social Security or Medicare anymore, and many retired legal citizens wouldn't be guaranteed a monthly check either. The Hispanic illegals are part of the Hispanic buying power that's expected to reach $1TRILLION by 2011, get rid of them and we will not see this great number.

NO!!! It really makes me mad when these illegals sneak into the country and then are granted all the privelages the American citizen enjoys! I came into this country legally, and went through the whole process. I wasn't allowed to become a ward of the State, meaning, no welfare, no food stamps, no medical assistance!! I got for MY citizenship by paying taxes, obeying the law, working hard and predging allience to this country!! They should ALL be sent back and be made to come back the same way I did! Why should they get off so easily!??
