Yes...they should stop it and they should go back and make sure all previous cases are sent back also. The government leaders have been so lax on this that they should serve jail time for not doing their jobs, and the border guards who were doing their jobs should be released immediately. |

absolutely....... these kids should be as illegal as their parents and receive nothing. they should be deported along with parents unless parents want to adopt them out. |

When you consider all the money taken away from US citizens to pay for illegals it's a no brainer.I'm on ssa and my monthly amount is being contested every year to pay for (not the war) but illegals and their children.
Plus if you a tax payer you would be amazed how much is being diverted from social security to help with health care and housing , not considering their food.

I'd back an Amendment that changes the 14th Amendment. I think it needs to be born here AND one parent a US citizen (paternity testing as needed for proof). |

No, but I do feel that what they should do is say if you have an anchor baby, then the parents only get deported and their child will get to stay and they are put through our adoption system. I know hispanics value family above all else and knowing their child will be taken away if they try the anchor baby idea will deter them from doing it. |

Absolutely!!! If the United States would do that, we could probably stop millions of illegal immigrants from coming into the United States!
I recently heard about an illegal Guatemalan who didn't want to go back to his own country and take his children, because his three children were born here and were, under current law, legal U. S. citizens! I say he should have thought about *that* when he illegally entered our country! |

No. But, they should recognize the right of the parents to take thier children home with them, even if that means allowing the parents to repudiate thier child's citizenship. |

yes, read the 14 amendment. it talks about people from other country's. i think if both parents are not legal then the child should not be legal. we need to be like mexico when it comes to our immigration laws. |

Definitely, once again we are rewarding law breakers, other countries do not do this why should we? but you will have to change the 14th amendment to do it. |

When a baby is born in any country--he or she is a citizen of that country--that is, if the parents don't decide to take him/her home to their own country for citizenship. I have also heard of people who have had dual-citizenship (they are actually citizens of more than one country). |
