No. It doesn't matter where you draw the border lines, they will always want to cross over to our side because their corrupt government doesn't take care of its own. It's not about the land. California is successful and rich because it's part of the U.S. If it was part of Mexico, it would be like living in the slums. |

No, because then we'd have to give them Arizona, Texas, New Mexico etc etc etc and pretty soon we'd have given them the whole country - and then they'd want Canada. |

ARE YOU NUTS? HELL NO!
California is part of America. I live in America, NOT MEXICO! |

Sure, but insist that they take Texas also. I'd love to see Dubya trying to learn Spanish--he can't even speak English yet. |

No, we shouldn't *give* it to them. However, if Mexico made a sufficiently generous monetary offer I wouldn't mind *selling* it to them...of course, the check would have to clear the bank first. |

Might as well. In another 50 yrs or so the whole thing is going to slide into the ocean. With as many earthquakes they have on the San Andreas Fault even if California was still attached the water rushing in at the Fault will make a huge river anyway and many of the choice property will be under water. |

No, we have given enough, it's time to take back our country and send the invaders back to their country of origin. |

Have you been there lately? Illegals are there now in sufficient numbers to take it back - all they have to do is vote, which is what the democrats want. |

We cut them slack in 86, they wanted more.
Our government has not been enforcing immigration laws and policy, they want more.
We give them Cali., they will want more.
We decide they are partially correct, they do not want the law to apply to them, so we disregard the laws protecting them, they will be gone, no more wanting more.
Problem solved.
Unless someone can truly tell the difference between the zealots, racists, Aztlan delusionals, anti-Americans with covered faces at the rallies, and the actual few harmless Mexican Illegals, isn't it in the best interest of our nations security and future stability to treat them all the same?
After all, they are all criminals who have broken the law to come here, why should anyone believe they are not a part of the radicals.
All this talking is stupid, it is time for action. |

Give it back to the Mexican's. It's going top fall into the ocean anyway and then they will want Arizonia. |

Why?
We bought it fair and square. Let the Mexicans go back to the hell hole they love so much, this ISN'T their land.
What we (USA) should do is make Mexico the 51st State. Then we can tax them, the poor and the rich. |

might be great for their economy and save the tax payers a fortune. But then Ahhhhhnold would have to learn how to say encheeeeladdaahh |

NEVER! Mexico signed over their northern territory to the U.S. The U.S. paid for it. Mexicans are just bothered by the fact that we could make something of their land when they couldn't. Plus, why should Mexico stop there? If we give them California, they'll invade Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico because they'll believe we'll give them those states, too. No, it's better just to cut illegals off from their income. That's the only way to do it. |

Questions like this make me want to open up a can of 'Woop ***'
How would you go about giving Mexico California?
Would Mexico even want it?
Think about what would have to be done.
Never has a state petitioned to leave the Union.
A new government would have to be installed.
New laws would have to be inacted. Think about the simplest. Mexico has a national language, every English sign would have to be torn down and replaced in Spanish. All currency would have to change. Everything would have to switch to metric. Every US citizen in California would have to renounce their citizenship and become Mexican. All the hospitals would be nationalized because Mexico has national health care. Everyone in Mexico would immediately move to California because it is ten time better than anywhere else in Mexico. I would expect the captial of Mexico City would move to East LA. Ha! HA!
Imagine how crazy it would be!
No it is better we make a stand and fight now. Make it clear it belongs to us and we are not giving it away. (Notice I didn't say give it back) |

We would lose all the natural resources, infrastructure, and tremendous part of the US economy.
I'd say this is a big NO. |
|

?

Of course! They'll love them mansions in Beverly Hills and Malibu beach houses!
And I bet the Mexicans will make a hell of a lot better movies when they take over the studios! |

It sure wouldn't hurt my feelings. You see the dredge that they consider people in most of California. You see the crappy movies that come out of California. You see the most ridiculous laws and mandates originating from California.
Who needs it. I would prefer that it actually just fall into the ocean. But giving it back to Mexico is a good option. |
