Should we legalize all Mexicans, so they won't have to sneak across the border illegally?

you are kidding amigo? illegals have destroyed los angeles and like a fungus are encroaching on other american cities. Our children and grandchildren will suffer for America allowing our country to be invaded. Go look at Mexico on the other side of El Paso and you will see the future of America. They have trashed mexico and want to do the same to America.

Legalise the whole of Mexico and reduce the tax on tequilla. Let's make them a new state and invite them north and in doing so we may save billions of hard earned dollars.

Some aspects of this make sense. Just recently in my small country town a guy from Mexico driving a car without a license rammed into the back of a parked car and ejected two teens through the windshield. He provided falsified documents to buy the car and after the wreck he fled back to Mexico and nobody was able to arrest him. All these illegals that come up here with drugs or hurt/kill people then flee back to Mexico could probably be prosecuted if they were American citizens and couldn't seek refuge in Mexico. They could all be taxed as well and jailed for not paying taxes.

I think something should be done to legalize the ones that are already here and have been for a while and work. I don't think we should legalize the ones that are not here yet. Maybe we could grant them temporary work permits, but not legalization.

Not all Mexicans are illegal in the United States. My family line has been here since the mid eighteen hundreds, when Mexico surrender land to the U.S., meaning this Mexican didn't need to sneak in or needed to be made legal.
The only reference you make to illegal is the act of crossing the boarder. Otherwise you toss the name of a race of people around like a proud bigot.

You guys are all crazy. Have you forgotten about all of the money that the illegals give the government, as well as the taxes they pay when they shop at walmarts on sundays. And as far as i know they are paid descent wages. Just because some Mexicans are here illegal, does not mean they are stupid, they want work for peanuts just to have work.

Why not just annex Mexico? It would give us cheap labor and resources, as well as improve the lives of a lot of Mexicans (you know, the ones sneaking across the border as it is). It would also cut down on the amount of somalis and other middle easterners we'd need to import to act as cheap labor, which is ALWAYS a Good Thing.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Why do you think there is different territories(countries) and laws? To protect the people of that area! We have been fighting for hundreds of years for territory. And this is how the land is set for the rest of eternity unless America decides to take over a few countries here and there which we easily could. America is only responsible for its citizens and NO ONE ELSE. Can you imagine a world with no borders and laws? There would be even more unjust crime everywhere!

They don't "have" to sneak over here. They choose to do it. The choice part of it is exactly why we should not legalize them. Why do that when we can legalize people that made the better choice of applying and following the legal process. There is no benefit to the U.S. in granting citizenship to ALL mexicans...the benefits are all theirs.

no that's stupid. A country needs to have one cultural identity and merging with another nation will be bad for both. Mexicans need to fix Mexico, not come to the United States.

Should i forward the 80 million dollar invoice that it costs us to support these illegals? Or do you not care that your jail are full with them, they are bring down even further (if that is possible) the education our children are getting, and they are stretching our medical resources to the breaking point in many cities. I say deport every damn one of them, and taser'em as they try and sneak in and throw them back.
