I have had the opportunity to see some of the people who are being allowed into the USA by out thought to be perfect system that is overseen by the National Visa Center for the Department of State. I have also had a chance to look into the medical examination. Both are absolutely flawed.
It would seem the USA should go a step further and assure we are actually receiving more quality people. Right now we are allowing too many uneducated and those who have no talent. Most of them see America as a place to get a government check. Really, this is their goal.
There is a big question; how does immigrants that are over seventy years of age helping the USA? And yes, there are many mentally ill immigrants who are entering the USA.
If there was a system in place, we would be able to be more selective. The interviewers are not especially trained for their mission and they are lacking in special skills. They misquote regulations and really don't have a fixed criteria on who gets in and who does not. |

They definitely need to be better screened and checked out. Also schools need to have in place safeguards for kids burning out. But I guess if it's going to happen not much can be done no matter what race. There's also ways of tricking psychological testing. |

I don't think it had anything to do with the gunman's ethnicity. There are crazy psychos in EVERY race. Sometimes I think that we Caucasians have even more than our share of crazies. I just don't think that his ethnicity has anything to do with it. |

And please, this guy has been on US soil for a very long time. The professors at Virginia Tech should have forced him to go for treatment the moment they recieved his violent stories. |

wow, what racism. one asian kills and you want to screen the whole race. did you even listen to his "manifesto"? he was directing his anger more at the "rich" people that "have it all".. just like the columbine example. by the way, when that happened, did you say that all white youth should undergo psychological testing? what about the unabomber (does he taint the reputation of all white people)? why is it that only ethnic minorities become tokens and representatives for an entire ethnicity and millions of people? in the meantime, people would just treat white criminals as individual cases.. what hypocrisy... educate yourself. |

no. Unless the person has signs of instability. Me being Asian american gave seen more than my fair share of psychopaths and sociopaths living in texas; and some happen to be white. I won't stereotype all whites as being crazy though. Yes he gave asians a bad stereotype but he had problems and we are all not like him. |
