Obama is proposing amnesty for illegals. It's been done before but I'm having a hard time finding specifics. Any one have a source as to the last time amnesty was provided, how it worked, etc?

in 1986 ,we had 2 to 3 million immigrants who were undocumented.....Ronald Reagan gave them amnesty,but he didnt finish the job,,he let those people obtain legal status but he did not close the border and did not do anything to continue hiring people without proper documentation...........this time will be different...
the ones who are here will be given documentation so that they can pay takex fully (even thought they pay at the moment ,)
the border with mexico is almost fully sealed,but it will be sealed...and no longer will there be hiring of undocumented people unless you want to pay a huge fine
so this time will be Right |
