Sprouts contaminated with Salmonella picked by illegals or just visa workers?

Is hygiene obviously an issue with these illegal latinos still ?

Do you find it distgusting that these people do not wash their hands after wiping their butts ?

or are you just grossed out that they have no sense of decency when it comes to peeing and deficating where our foods are grown ?

Hygeine is a n issue. Parts of Mexico lack water and therefore Hygeine lags in those areas. part of it is caused by us also though, so we can't fully blame them. We buy up some fo Mexico's water supply. Also, the company who grows these vegetables are at fault. They might not provide the proper facilities and definetely do not supervise their workers properly. What's most concerning if factory farms. Since a small farm can contaminate a small supply of our food, when we dump the product from a small farm in agian warehouse and wash them in large batch, that contamination can contaminate a high percent of our food supply and may cross contaminate other foods as well. 80% of our spinach was once recalled and also peppers was recalled and it leaked into our tomato supply because they are warehoused together.

Yeah organics are really the way to go. Have you ever seen a large scale organic operation bug infested with weeds and crap everywhere nasty looking under grown product. And that product the Mexicans picked it didn't go anywhere but from the field to the table it couldn't of got salmonella at the processing plant or in transit give me a break. Don't bother washing it grown in an open field it has to be clean. Also aren't sprouts one of the most common carriers of the salmonella virus naturally? Racism veiled as patriotism is still racism

I doubt if it is a hygiene issue. Salmonella most often comes from bird turds. Besides, have you ever had salmonella? It is impossible to do any kind of work if you are infected. It is nearly impossible to even stand up. Been there 4 times. Each time was related to sloppy food handling involving raw chicken.
If there is any way that illegal immigrants picked these sprouts, wouldn't proper sanitation be the employer's responsibility? That is, in fact the law.
I am trying to figure out what evidence you think you have that the salmonella was caused by the people who picked the sprouts. Is there any chance that the infection was caused by overflying birds, or the fertilizer used by the farmer?
I find it disgusting that you think so little of the people that do the jobs you and people like you will not do. Let me know what proof you have that this salmonella infection was "caused by people who don't wash their hands after wiping their butts"
