Swine flu, measels, and illegals?

Don't forget the re-emergence of TB. To bad our inept government is more concerned about political correctness than it's own citizens. The border should have been slammed shut a week ago.

These are only a few of the disease illegals are brining into the country, chagas disease is one too, and people may not even know they have been infected. We need to stop these people coming in now. U.S. needs to be more concerned with this, it has been long enough.

Chagas disease is an inflammatory, infectious condition caused by a parasite and which is transmitted to humans through the feces of the infected reduvid bug.

Chagas disease is common in South America, Central America and Mexico, the primary home of the reduvid bug. Chagas disease has also spread to the southern United States in recent years.

Chagas disease, also called American trypanosomiasis, has two phases. During the acute phase, signs and symptoms are often mild. Left untreated, Chagas disease may become chronic, possibly resulting in serious heart and digestive problems.

Treatment focuses on killing the parasite and managing signs and symptoms. You can take steps to prevent the infection.

Chronic phase
The chronic phase of Chagas disease may occur 10 to 30 years after initial infection. In severe cases, Chagas disease symptoms may include:

Irregular heartbeat
Inflamed, enlarged heart (cardiomyopathy)
Congestive heart failure
Difficulty swallowing due to enlarged esophagus
Abdominal pain or constipation due to enlarged colon

It will take the family member of someone in government being affected and then something will be done about it.
Same as with our immigration problem. When someone of "importance" gets raped or murdered by these criminals who are allowed to enter,the border will be secured.

As some body that lives in Texas I know that our Governor here has asked for medication to help with the poss outbreak that we will most likely have here.And the cases we have here are in Guadalupe county,so yea guess who brought it to Texas.

Having spent much time in most everywhere south of the border....

Swine flu is the least of it when it comes to what is out there and shows up in the US. True some exist in the US already but most have been wiped out and cases are few and far between. It is not PC but the resurgence of most can be directly attributed to immigrants from Latin America. It was about the 80s when the hispanic wave started and various diseases started coming back.

You can be as non PC as you wish. Statistics and studies done by the World Health Organization, the AMA, National Institude of Health and such back it up.

People may argue that this is just a "anti illegal" thing. But everybody has known about this for years and it just took a major event to have the average person realize it.

Problem is the US is not like other countries. Others do not allow illegal immigration and if one does it legally you have to have a health certificate.

Though I will say like another did that many of the diseases that have started to come back are doing so because so many ill informed parents are refusing to immunize their children.

Borders have nothing to do with this. The flu we get in the USA each year comes from China. The Great Wall is like the US/Mexico fence on steroids. A fence is a waste of money. With air travel and tunnels, you can't stop anyone, especially a virus.

A businessman in Mexico City more likely than not spread the virus to New York last week, not an immigrant. Even if you catch 99% of the traveler's, the other 1% can have it. The goal will be to minimize it, not stop it.

This is what happens when the borders are not allowed to be controlled. A non-US citizen cannot be allowed in this country based on health related reasons as indicated in US Code 8.

The others are due to people not getting their children here in the US vaccinated and of people not taking their full regiments of antibiotics for TB, here also in the US.

Please do more research before blaming others for what the US people do.
