Only in America right?!? I think we should do away with the food stamps. I can't help you as far as you being ticked, maybe start writing your Representatives......next time you see them copy down their plate number, track them down and turn them in for welfare fraud. |

know how you feel, never seen that race of people use foodstamps, they all have money, around here. its mexicans here, that you see, pay for 3 carts of food with foodstamps or that card.dont know if they still call it foodstamps, then they pull a cart up loaded down with beer and wine, and pay for it with a roll of money that would choke a horse. then go out and get in a new suv . makes me mad too. and we get to pay for all that ****. or when they bring their kids in the doctors office, and them and the kids are decked out in brand name clothes. then they walk out, without paying a dime, because that was on us too. |

i know what your saying. when i lived in Chicago. i go to the store and polish couple dressed better then i seen a poor American, payed for there grocery's with food stamps. this happened in 1986. pissed me off. here me and my husband with one child both working and struggling didn't qualify. go figure.

I am with you... I lost my job and was denied food stamp... I was having a hard time finding a new job... any job... I have no family where I am... I went for assistance with fod, rent and health (I am bi-polar and would be losing my meds.)
They gave me $150 of food stamps a month but told me because I was not pregnant or a single mom they could not help me with anything else. Or I would have to have my Dr. declare me disabled and I could collect up to $600 a month... all I wanted to do was pay rent and bills and be healthy for a month or 2 while I found a job... or go back to school or something... but NO HELP FROM THE STATE.... |

Vote, vote, vote , vote, vote, let the elected officials know how you feel. It is really the only thing you can do. The fact is, is that even what they are making from the govt. assistance they still could not afford that car. They are selling drugs or something illegal. To me the fact that they are foreign has nothing to do with it, there are many different races living off our tax dollars that are living much higher than they should be. |

That would of upset me too. I have seen it before but it takes all kind of people not only immigrants, remember that people that are cheating the goverment are legal here in USA. Just take a ride through your local Housing Authority and count all the Lexus and other expensive cars. |
