Terminology problem, what about illegals?

Is calling illegal immigrants "Mexican citizens" or "International outlaws" accepted?
Can we refer to them as "transient criminals" or "nomad felons"?
I'm trying to find other names to switch to so that I do not repeat "illegal immigrants" too many times in my research paper.

Yeah, I'm not trying to be racist., I'm talking about people who cross the border from Mexico, not Canada. I'm also in a very conservative college. I wouldn't be able to graduate from a typical "institute of higher lemming". I'm not susceptible to brainwashing and/or liberal thought reform.

You are writing a research paper. Presumably it's for school, college or university.
If that is so, your research is bound by certain standards which others aren't.
I'd advise you to avoid using any descriptive names that are inaccurate, pejorative, that include emotive and judgemental terms, or that are too broad or narrow.

However you might feel that they are invaders, criminals, outlaws, transients etc., they are not strictly speaking any of those, and they are not all Mexicans (unless you are concentrating on those, even though there are illegal immigrants from many other countries).

But....
illegal immigrants are all of these, as well as being illegal and immigrants:
Unauthorised. Resident(s). Aliens. Unlawful. Migrants. Foreign nationals.

So you can pick and choose which of those terms to use, if you want to avoid being repetitive. Also, to avoid repetition, provided it's in context, you could use "them" in the same sentence or paragraph, I'd think.

The government coined the phrase WET BACKS some time ago because of the swim. Now that the Rio Grand has become a stream, they walk over. The Cubains who arrive with dry feet are given a green card wet feet are sent back to cuba. Do we need someone to check their feet? Mexican Citizens implies vacation I do not think that is ok. How about invaders or criminals that will do it for me.

i would stick with these..even though your terms could be interpreted as "illegal immigrant" they don't actually mean "illegal immigrant"

mmm being illegal is a CIVIL offense, not a criminal offense...and calling "mexican citizens" is racist, because not all illegals are mexicans.
