The AZ immigration law do you apologize?

First off my wife is hispanic. Her family came from Mexico legally in the early 1900's.
I worked as a Deputy Sheriff in S. Texas along the border. I have nothing against someone making a buck to feed their family. The problem is not "Mexicans"! Last week Homeland Security notified Texas officials about a possible attempt by a Somali member of Al'Queda to attempt to cross our border. Why didn't it make the national news. Because the white house wants to sugarcoat the situation and make it a racism problem. I personally know of Border patrol capturing persons from Yemen, Algeria, Egypt, India, and a host of people from other SouthEast Asian countries trying to cross our border illegally. Our Border patrol is spread thin. The Obama administration has reduced workplace enforcement by 70%. If we started fining these companies hiring ILLEGALS aliens and put in place the e-verification system, it would cut down on the cost of workplace enforcement. Of course this all came to a head last week when one of our Border Patrol agents had to defend himself by killing someone trying to hurt him. How dare the Mexican police and army point their weapons at our law enforcement trying to investigate a crime. The president better grow a pair of balls and tell the Mexican president to shut the F**K up. He takes billions of our taxpayers dollars and pockets it and doesn't take care of his country. I had drug and illegal alien smugglers kill my dog for enforcing the law. I had to move because my family was in danger. I refuse to give in to these lawbreakers. It is common knowledge among law enforcement along the border that the Mex. police and army are helping the drug smugglers gain access into the united states. Washington is clueless about what is happening on our border. If they would just come down for a day and ride with us law enforcement, they would see we are under daily attack by those who wish to do us harm. The only thing that is going to stop this is to put U.S. military forces on our border, and I don't mean the national guard that is not even allowed to make apprehensions or enforce our laws. Sadly, more innocent people and innocent law enforcement officers are going to have to be killed before washington gets off it's a** and does something about it. Terrorists know it's easier to cross our southern border than it is to walk across our northern border due to the terrain. It will only get worse before it gets better. Again I stress, I'm not against hard working people. Being among the Latino culture for so long, I've come to love it. Latinos are very family orientated, and I love the food!!!!LOL. I'm just scared the next terrorist attack is going to come from someone that crosses over from Mexico! Its not about race at all, they are just pulling the race card because they what the privilege of
coming onto american soil and living off the fat of our land.

How is america so racist towards illegals when people come into this county illegally and we allow the illegals to receive medical, education, welfare and jobs, jobs that belong to the american people.

Illegal Immigrants are a liability to society. In the state of Arizona, there are millions of dollars in debt in result of supporting the illegals with medical, education and welfare. In return, Arizona gets the number one kidnapping rate title in american and there community get flooded with mexican gang and drug dealers.

It's about enforcing law! I have no problem with Mexicans living here! A lot of em are nice people! But darnit, I know MY ancestors had to go through lots of paperwork and crap at ellis island to get to stay here, and the immigrants from emxico should be no different! laws are laws, no matter what your ethnicity!

I love this law and love Arizona! I wish their governor would run for president, actually.
About time something was done. I'm tired of these people getting away with this and stealing from us all.
If Arizona weather were appealing to me, I'd think about moving there. I might plan a vacation there, at least.

Its not about race. Its about enforcing the law and protecting the citizens and taxpayers. The US is buckling under the burden of Illegal Immigrants, its not buckling under the burden of "Hispanics" or "Latino's" but those who break the law, don;t contribute to being a productive member of society, and then turn our laws against US. They hurt all Americans be them white, black, Asian, or even Hispanic who are legal residents or citizens.

I fully support this and more as the burden on our system with prisons, law enforcement, education, welfare, healthcare (unpaid), and the workplace brought on by illegals is costing to much on the taxpayer's who do follow the rules and the system. They drain society of the money needed to support our society and then beat us up over it. We get called racists because the vast majority of Illegals are of a specific racial type (Latino), but its not about that.... its about right and wrong. If there was more racism against Latino's as a whole their would be more hate crimes or problems posed to the Latino community who are legal. Politicians of Latino favor or decent would not ever be voted in any office but they do manage to get in simply because our anger is at Illegals and not at a specific race.

If anyone owes anyone an apology its the illegals. They have been a huge part of the destruction of our economy and the deterioration of our society. All I owe and would love to give illegals is a boot up their asses, straight out of my country. Arizona needs to stand up to anyone and everyone that doesn't like their law. They are upholding the constitution of th United Stats something the federal government refuses to do. And as for BO yet another example of his lack of leadership Chastising Arizona as he kisses the *** of the Mexican president. It should have been the other way around. Bo is one big *** mistake!

Half of these people on here that spew racist profiling and claim all the "Mexicans" are illegal when there are 7 different "Hispanic" cultures attempting to cross daily! Not ALL your illegals are Mexican and as of late, the most that have been apprehended have been from countries over seas!
5 yrs ago, you wouldn't have even thought that they have Chinese restaurants in Mexico. As soon as you cross the border and into Matamoros there are atleast 2 new ones.
Most Hispanics from other countries will tell Border Patrol or local law enforcement they are from Mexico instead of Honduras, Venezuela, Guatamala, Belize, Panama, Cuba, or Brazil just so they will deposit them in Mexico so they can attempt to cross again.
I volunteer with the local law enforcement and the court house on occasions when there is an immigration issue (criminal being deported). The interpreter at the court house will not ask what country they are "actually" from because she can't tell the accent difference and so when they tell her they are from Mexico, they believe them. Thank the Gods I can tell the accent change and by their personal body language where they are from. They recently had two guys that were picked up for fighting infront of a persons home. No one was drunk but some personal and public property was damaged in the mele and they were taken to jail, found they were illegal through the INS data base and were sent to court. That night, the police officer on that shift had called me to verify their home land. They said they were from Mexico soon after they were verified. I came down as a "community" adviser and they spoke freely with me. By their accents and their personality, I could tell he was from Honduras. He eventually confided in me he was when I gained his trust, the second man was from Guatamala. I asked him to have the INS agent contact me soon after. 5 weeks later they were sent to their countries of origin because they could not prove otherwise. They were given sufficient amount of time to contact as many people as they could to get valid birthcertificates or other forms of identification from Mexico or Mexican citizenship and they could not.
This is what screws up the numbers when counting race and home country with illegals. Many will tell them they are from Mexico just so they will get deposited over the border to recross.
Demand that your local law enforcement and INS offices verify country of origin prior to deporting. This will curb a lot of the returns.
I am so tired of people telling those from Mexico, here legally, to go home or calling them illegal just because of ethnicity. I have even had ICE called on my husband who is a legal citizen twice in the last two years for no reason! ICE doesn't play either, thank goodness. The same people that reported my husband were brought into court and fined $5000 for filing a false report, and also were told to pay restitution to my husband for lost wages and undue suffering as well as racial accusations. These were from black people in or near our neighborhood! They both are paying us $150 a month for the next 3 yrs!
So, how do you tell if someone is illegal and how can you tell if, said illegal, is involved in some sort of criminal activity outside of being an illegal? YOU CAN'T. You can't tell a Honduran from a Mexican, well the average person can't, but how do you identify who is from where? How do you rectify undue racism and racial profiling concerning illegal immigration and legal immigration, YOU CAN'T. All the laws to employers, the e-verify for employers, and harrassment will not get all the illegals out of this country. Whine, cry, complain, and moan, but it will not work. There is no sure fire solution to the problem. Even enforcing our immigration laws will not effect it as many would like it to. We must find a solution that benefits everyone involved. The way Arizona is handeling this is not the right way. They act as though they are the only ones effected, but they are not.
To me it seems as if they are pushing themselves to detach from the US and become a self sufficient state, which is fine with me, if they can afford to support themselves on their own with no Federal assistance, then let them have at it. The other states that border Mexico know there is a better solution to all this. Arizona is trying to draw attention to themselves, that is all, and trying to divert attention from Sheriff Joe and Lawyer buddy Thomas. It will all come back and bite them in the butt sooner or later.

Yes to all the other countries but on the American side I see she is still sheep potential.
The only states that do not validate legal residence for Welfare, Foodstamps, Regular Healthcare, are the following...
California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and only a few Northern States. Go figure. The rest of the country actually does request legal proof of residence for country and state, past work history, past tax records, proof of need, or medical records. For social security and dissability, they are checked the same way. In those same states, they can not apply for unemployment due to legal status.
For credit cards - anyone with an ITIN can apply, that is the fault of the credit card companies. Heck, there are thousands of Americans that were issued one right after another and are in dept in the thousands.
Buy a house, no problem, proof of work history, bank account records, and vouchers from three reliable companies you pay regular payments to and anyone can buy a home. There are hundreds of foreigners who do not have a Visa or Greencard or do not hold dual citizenship that own American property. Half of Miami and Tampa are owned by rich people in Dubai, India, and Greece.
If you can not prove your legal stutus to a state DMV then you are NOT given a Drivers license. That is Nationwide.
Lending companies for autos only require a proof of insurance, a down payment, a tax ID or SS#, and current work history and you are instantly approved for a car. That is for any one, legal or illegal.
So, before anyone thinks Snow is right, think again.
There are new tax laws, state mandated laws, and federal Laws that were put in place in 2009. Look them up.
