I do believe the reason for "God Bless America" is...our great country was founded on the FREEDOM OF RELIGION...and, God has blessed us, just as he blesses any true Christian, even though they will have trials and tribulations.

May I ask you, "What is selfish about sending my son, or anyone elses son or daughter to die in a foriegn land..such as Vietnam? Now we are GIVING our precious sons and daughters in those countries as they establish a government of their own. Those leaders were committing horrific crimes against their own people. I sort of look at it like an abused child...he/she has no hope unless someone steps in, and there is a glimmer of light, a ray of hope.

The United States of America is, I dare say one of the most giving of all the countries. And I must say, we are a brave lot, and the people in our military choose to be there, and they know what they're fighting for...GOD BLESS THE U.S.A

you get a lot of fakes on here who spout off because thy feel safe, but the problem around the world is that you guys mistake fear for respect. the world fears the us. this is not respect, the schoolyard bully can never become the policeman. and the Nazis thought that they were the only world power at one point too, there is always going to be someone big enough and at some point mad enough to take you down, and China, India and South Asia are big and they are tech-ing up so watch out, do you understand this ? That's the mentality of the illegal criminals who come here. Us, us, us. Instead of doing things the right and legal way, they demonstrate to us just how much of a low life they are by coming to our country illegally, then use falsified ID and documentation and break several laws. To them, the ends justify the means. In other words, they are being selfish dogs that only care about themselves and don't care what they have to do or what laws they have to break to get it. I don't know where you live, but you really should get your facts straight before you make stupid statements like that!
After the Tsunami hit the US was right there to help. When Katrina hit New Orleans, it was weeks before our fellow americans got any help from the government! And how many other countries came here to help them?
Besides if the USA is so freaking bad why the hell do so many people from other countries want to live here?
Why can't the rude canadian stay in canada, instead of comming here and acting like we owe them something?
