An old couple being rob in their own property by illegal’s stealing their fruits & crops. The old guy shot the illegal for thief & trespassing, he was accused & sued. The ACLU defended the illegals in their behalf. If you’re in the old couple’s shoes; the court ordered you give half of your land, will you do it or fight for it or do something else & why?

I have to admit I love a good if question.
O.K. we have illegals robbing fruit from trees that is on land that is not theirs. Some how an old guy shoots an illegal for thief and trespassing, care to say if this old guy gave warning or did the illegals run upon the site of an old man with a shotgun? No warnings - (attempted, premeditated or deliberate) murder charges are possible, gave warnings and the illegals ran then it seems possible someone shot someone in the back.
Instead of asking a if question do a search for retired sheriff Mr Barnett a self appointed immigration agent sued twice, the first from citizens, the Morales (father, son , two girls and a friend) then by illegals. Take note when searching that the case of "illegals" suing Mr. Barnett plainly over shadows the case of his being sued by American citizens treated the same way.
Now the majority of the answers given would fight the court and government in a disagreement of the verdict. That seems about right to disagree with not only the decision reached but to fight the very government that we placed as the justice head of our laws.
It then seems that this majority would rather argue their violating a law rather than admitting that the laws found them in violation and is penalizing them as the law allows.
Would I give up my land without a fight, I can not honestly say yet it has happen to my fore fathers and they fought until the land they had was not theirs any longer. Today they are on land that is given to them as a pittance gesture.
Does my willingness not to fight mean that I would not, no it means I know already that to take that path would mean my death in the end and then my land would end up in the governments hands as did my fore fathers the only one thing they would give me is my military burial in a 6 x 6 x 6 spot where my tombstone marks what little land I have left.
Stolen lands or the spoils of victory? The United States offered to buy the land before the war only Mexico did not want to sell.
Dead men do tell tales, approximate time and method of death, DNA details. items on the body give clues to the death of a silent body.
Any one that says "if your in prison for selling a bag of weed you should be set free and given reparations" should rethink this as I believe most people in disagreement of illegal immigration say it is the illegals that sell drugs that being the case you are now advocating damages for illegals selling drugs. |

Well first off Texas was NOT stolen
like the trashy racist mexican think.
We did NOT rob racist trashy Mexicans and Natives, it was bought or acquired.
So I think we don't' owe those trashy law breakers fruits and vegetables... |

Damned straight I would fight it!
I personally do not think that anyone in this country illegally should have any rights other than the right to be treated like a human being. If you wish to immigrate to this country, fine and dandy. More power to ya, but do it legally. |

I would appeal the decision. Of course, it would be a losing battle. Why? Because the ACLU has resources that are beyond my resources. I would run out of time and money to pursue the issue. But I would appeal it for a time. And anyway, I'd be guilty of killing someone. His immigration status doesn't put him on the 'open shot' target market. I killed the person. So he stole some vegi's or fruit. That deserves death? I don't think so. Giving some land away lets me off easy. The court know's it, the ACLU know's it, The recepients of the property know it, and now you know it. |

If you are going to shoot someone...kill them. That way there is only one side of the story. If your land is posted and they are stupid enough to trespass, then the nature selection must take over. Killing them ensures that this idiot cannot reproduce any more and taint the gene pool. As for the land turning it over to an illegal. Illegal speaks for itself. If the idiot was not in the country, then it would not have been killed. Notice that I did not mention shot. I spent some time in Texas and my land was posted every ten feet. I shot out the bar light on my partner's cruiser. He did not return to my land after dark again.
As for the ACLU, let them pay for the funeral and burial. I am tired of criminals having more rights than the normal, legal citizen. |

In terms of Americans stealing Texas from Mexico. Americans conquered it as Mexico had conquered it from the native American Indians tribes. Just as Spain had conquered the central American indians to form Mexico.
The indians tribes from central America are not the same as the indians from North America. Each tribe was different. So you can't claim that the central American indians had a claim on Texas. Just as Germans don't have a claim on France. |

Well I really don't think he should have shot the illegal, but I really don't know why the illegal immigrants are still here since they are here illegally. But the couple shouldn't give up their land, but it might be expensive to fight it in court. |

Fight it, I would get every lawyer I possibly could. Call up every paper/ journalist, call into several talk radio shows getting my story out on the air, contacting news agencies hoping to shed some light on the situation. Get agencies and organizations that are looking out for the interests of US citizens involved. |

Well, first and formost...I hope you KNOW this person is illegal and not assuming it, but just as if it were a legal person that it would be the same way, one) The theif was not hurting the couple, which is why they were sued and taken to court By law unless you are phyisically harmed or being harmed physically you cannot fight back. two) if I were the couple I would fight it, I'm not giving half my anything to anyone, legal or not! |

It's sick, isn't it? The illegals (poor victims that they are) are being allowed to walk all over taxpayers, and the ACLU is helping them do it! It's nauseating, truly.
If the court ordered this couple to give up land, they have no choice but to do it. In an effort to fight the legal battle, they likely would go broke anyway.
If I were in that spot, I would go to the Governor, my Senator and Congressman (unless they are loser Liberal immigrant sympathizers), and the closest right-leaning media I could find (Wall Street Journal, etc.) I would also write to Rush Limbaugh, Hugh Hewitt, Dennis Prager, Mike Gallagher and Dennis Miller. I would start a media campaign as best I could. The local papers are probably sympathetic to the criminals in this case.
I hope, by the way, that you are hypothesizing here and that this didn't actually happen. I realize that if it did not, it is only a matter of time til it does. |

The "illegals" are people too sweetie. I don't think them being "illigal" or not makes a difference. If ANYONE illegal or not did this and got half of the land it would be unfair.
THEY TOOK OUR JOOOOOBSS
You sound like a hillbilly. Calling them by "illigals" is just as bad as calling them by their race like "the blacks" |
