If you don't mind betraying your country go ahead and keep quiet. Of course now you are a criminal too. Maybe someday your grandchildren will thank you for helping turn the US into a third world dump. |

Not reporting him is wrong. You have an obligation to this country. Not to some illegal who wanted to jump the line. There are thousands of people waiting patiently to come to this country legally. Why should he or any other illegal get special treatment? |

Illegal immigration IS an offence and he should be deported
There is a backlash coming against criminal immigration, watch this space |

Turn him in !!! |

Yes, being a criminal illegal alien is definately wrong. I would keep my distance from him. |

Definitely turn him in. He and people like him are raping our country and turning it into a third world country. Even if he is working he is not paying taxes like US citizens are. If he goes to school he is stealing money from the US taxpayers. If you keep your mouth shut you can be charged with aiding and abetting a criminal. Your call now, don't sell out your country. |

You should know that if you do not turn him in, and he has admitted he is an illegal immigrant, you can be thrown in jail or pay fines. By not telling on him you are aiding and abetting a known criminal. |

You wouldn't have to tell on him- just his parents. |

No, it is not wrong for you to turn in someone who is breaking the law by being here. |

First off, dear- there are 20 million people illegally in the US. Unless he is a huge criminal, they won't do anything.
Secondly, if he is a minor, his presence in the US isn't held against him....
I think that it would be wasting your time to worry about something like this- not only because reporting it will make no difference but also because you don't know what's right. Since you are debating it and no difference will be made, why bother? |

It's illegal, it's wrong, but the world's not depending on you to take care of it. If you want to, do it. Hell, give me his name, I'd love to turn him in. Basically, it's up to you. |

so? you think you're going to make a difference by reporting him. there's probably 500 illegal immigrants that crossed the boder last night and the night before etc... focus in your grades punk. |

He is a boy, you I assume are a girl.....meaning underage children. It is not right, but it is not his fault and you are still a child. This is an ADULT issue that should be delt with by adults with adults.
This is not a childrens issue and they should not even be having to deal with this. It is not your job or his to be responsible for this horrible situation. Be friends for each other. And support each other in whatever way you can. |

Tell him if he doesn;t learn the fine art of keeping his stupid mouth under control he's going to cause him and his family a lot of grief in the future. |

Why did he tell you? Did he tell you because he expects you to turn him in? I suspect not. So if you tell you'll betray his trust, in my opinion a despicable thing to do. |

Cal the Police! Call the FBI, the CIA, call the Border Patrol!!! Ahhhhhh help, illegal aliens ahhhh oh no, our precious way of life is threatened ahhhh oh noooooo!!!! |

I suggest you mind your own business. Even if he is actually illegal, no one is going to do anything about it. USICE goes after the drug dealers and people-smugglers, not working families. |

so what? why would you want to tell on him just because he is a illegal immigrant. as well he may not know but may be a refugee for security reasons and had to leave his country. anyways don't tell if he is an illegal immigrant. he most likely will be able to stay even if you tell or worst his mom or dad has to take a immigration test to see if they are fit to be in your country. in all i wouldn't worry about keep it to yourself because if it gets out others might mook and tease him about how he didn't deserve to be in your country. |

by boy, I'm assuming a child. Children do not know when they come into a country the "rules" of it all. That is the parents responsibility to get things taken care of. However, if he is a child, he may also not fully understand "illegal immigrant" as most adults view the term. He may not be a citizen and born in another country......but who's to say he doesn't have any paperwork or that it isn't being processed. My husband was brought over as a CHILD (9 yrs. old) by his mother and they never left.....he attended school here all through high school. His mother didn't take care of his paperwork.....school systems didn't bother either. When we filed for him.....they ended up deporting him. So if nothing is being done for him by his parents.....it will be hard for him when he is older. But like I stated earlier, many children don't fully grasp the entire concept. Hell.......most adults don't either.....even though they like to THINK they do. They tend to forget that this country was based off of immigrants and that is what their ancestors were......if one speaks the language and respects the country, then they should be given the chance to proclaim this country as their home. Do not report him......you don't know the full story either.....you are just going off a one line statement by him......that he might not fully realize that the process for his status in this country is already being taken care of. |

No... don't turn him in. If he is 18, I would talk to him about getting his green card so that he can be in the U.S legally and doesn't have to worry about getting deported.
I feel so bad for... my sister's boyfriend is an illegal immigrant. He wasn't born here. He went to school here all his life. However... he has heard a lot of horror stories about people who have tried to get their green cards or citizenship and then almost got deported.
No... I wouldn't turn him in. I would just let him know that... when he is of age, he should try to get his green card or citizenship. |
