Canadians are not coming to the US as you suggest. Just now, quite the opposite is occuring. Because Canada has overall a safe and stable nation, Americans are seeking to enter and stay there. The Canadians, unlike the US are very strict. US visitors may visit but may only stay one day less than 6 months per year, and may not seek employment or seek any type of Canadian services.
Americans generally do not have a problem with immigrants who are in the US LEGALLY. It's often been said that the entire country minus the Amerinds, are immigrants of one type or another. They do oppose people coming illegally who perhaps have lengthy criminal records, take jobs Americans need, or run up 2 million dollars worth of medical bills paid by our medicaid, or send their children to colleges here on FAFSA, all while not paying any taxes, |
