I agree that their anger is misguided. Illegal immigrants are different than terrorists, but they also drain our resources. I have worked with illegals, and I know they work hard. It is a pity that it is easier for them to come illegally than to go through the time-consuming, expensive process of becoming an American. It would benefit them in the long run to become citizens, but many are on a hopeless track. And, some are just trying to steal and be dishonest.
There are good and bad of every group: Americans, Illegal Immigrants, and students with Visas

The illegal immigrants are very openly breaking our laws. The first is being here illegally in the first place. But then they do not stop breaking our laws with just that. They then use fake IDS, fake or stolen ss cards, gez its lie after lie after lie. I'd like to ask just one time, why do the illegal immigrants have no respect for the law or laws ? is it something you learn growing up ? If we say we are for deportation, then you say, oh how can you be so inhuman. If we say, stay in Mexico and make it better for your kids and grandkids, its oh how can we do that.

I don't care if illegals come in. Good Lord we let the H-mongs in didn't we? Only thing is they need to pay their share of taxes and help to support their community. And learn the lanuage so we don't have to speak spanish or can talk on the phone without choosing english or spanish. this is america. we speak english.

I don't know about "all the people", but my complaint is that "illegal" means "not legal". Just like robbery, embezzlement, murder, etc. it is against the law. Societies create laws to protect its members from certain behaviors. To accomplish that, there is a prescribed consequence / punishment for each law the is broken.

If the consequences do not follow, why have laws at all?

So, if you don't like the law, change it. Don't just excuse people who break it.

Well, illegal immigration is a crime and therefore I can't support it. But I agree with alot of what you said and you are right that people do not have to mean to one another. We are all equal people on this planet and there is no reason for one person to put themselves higher than someone else. You have to understand though, that alot of people are just frustrated with illegal immigration and that is why they sometimes lash out. I didn't think it was as much of a problem at first, but I am now starting to see problems caused by illegal immigration. Overcrowding in the schools is one the biggest ones. Where I live we have a serious problem. There are not enough teachers for the amount of students my home county is taking on. Immigration is big in my state. Most come here legally I assume, but then many do not. Now I believe that even illegal immigrants would have to pay state taxes if they are receiving an actual paycheck, but if they are being paid under the table and then putting their kids in our schools, then they would robbing education from them children of tax payers and that is wrong.

And to Mexican Hater: Just in case you're wondering I am someone who reported you, you sick excuse for a human being!!

I think that you are referring to a minority who think that illegals and terrists are comparable. The point is our borders are wide open and vulnerable, not just to illegal immigrants who are trying to escape the oppresive life in Mexico in particularly, but also those who want to come here and do harm. So, why shouldn't the US protect their southern border the same way that Mexico protects their southern border? (minus the abuse if people get caught).

I will tell you why I am complaining about illegal immigrants...First off, when they come to America illegally, They do NOT pay taxes. The illegal women who gets pregnant and gives birth on our American soil, They collect Social Security, (hence my legal money), Social Security is going broke (not just because of illegal immigrants...but they play a part of it). Next, is the illegal immigrants works for cash and sends the money back to mexico to their family...thus is making America going broke (again, not just because of illegal immigrants...but they play a part of it).

I don't have a problem if they come to my American soil....only legally.

Sorry, but illegals are illegal. And if they come into this country illegally, what makes you think they won't do illegal things? The illegals are taking away our money....they are using the hospitals, doctors, schools and other resources and if you think they are paying for these, think again. Try to find an illegal to send the bill to. My grandparents came here and worked hard to be legal, why is it so hard for people to believe that everyone who comes here should do the same. Yes, they're both important issues. Why do we have to choose one or the other? We should deal with them both. We have to stop illegals from hopping right into America whenever they feel like it. "Terrorist can be coming in through the border" Looks like we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

The security holes exploited by the terrorists to get into this country have been corrected. Basically, they would move to Canada and apply for residency. Once they got Canadian residency they would apply to come to the US as a Canadian resident. We haven't had problems with Canadian terrorists so Canadian residents didn't get background checks. That has changed. As a result, it is now very hard for a terrorist to get into the US by applying as a Canadian resident. If the legal loophole is gone, then terrorists are far more likely to start exploiting illegal means of getting into the US. This is why so many people are upset by how easy it is for people to sneak into the country illegally. That is why so many people link the illegal entry problem with the terrorism problem.

The main problem is that they dop not assamilate for the most part. When people come here they normally do it to become part of america (learn the language and become part of society).

Illegal immigrants are under the radar and can basically do what they want if they want.

Another issue is that illegal immigration is literally a covert takeoer of america. Imagine enough illegal immigrants came into southern america, that they pushed people out of states north. Then those states more populated by non english speaking immigrants would basically become part of mexico.

Same would go for northern mexico, if americans were to illegally immigrate south and occupy northern mexico in mass, with time changing the culture there to closer resemble USA.

Dont get me wrong, we need illegal immigrants so they can work for illegal wages (lower than we are by LAW required to pay). Who else can we pay $5 a day to do hard labor.

But on the same hand, we then need to lower minimum wage to resemble that of what illegal immigrants are paid. How else can we do what we are doing?

WHAT IS illegal immigration in massive scale? Is it a passive war? It is definately a passive invasion against the fabric of america.

How do you propose we draw maps from now on? Can a border be a defined line if a state or chunk of land is occupied by another countrys inhabitants, who the laws do not apply to?

I dont suppose it has occurred to you that the terrorists (such as the ones involved in 9-11) were also illegal immigrants. They came in on tourist or student visas and stayed long after they were supposed to leave instead of sneaking across the border but they were illegal anyway.

Illegal! While big companies are changing hiring procedures so as not to hire illegals, due to the investment in them they lose money. That leaves small businesses and the Mom and Pop operation to invest in them and cost of work not completed when the INS shows up. Don't have answers to the problem, and as to how many legals this nation can afford. There are no simple answers, but someone will rise and find the answers, in this country thats the way it has always been.
