what other country in this world allows people to enter illegally, then deem it ok? i can't get past the fundamental problem of the law being broken when they entered! the right way to fight is to pressure the government to adopt more open immigration laws allowing more of the right people (no criminal records)...instead of anyone that can pay to cross the border.... |

There were no immigration laws when this country was settled so there could be neither legal or illegal immigration.No laws = no crime.The first immigrations laws were in the 1930s But we do have laws now and to violate any of theses immigration laws is to commit a crime.,so to cross the border without proper papers etc its a crime.I don't feel superior to anyone, I don't hate illegals ,I don't call people names

True that most americans are immigrants, most came here legally...when it was LEGAL. First read up on the absurdly low limit on LEGAL immigration from Mexico before you compare.
If we give them green cards and tax them, make their employers pay workers compensation and treatthem as any other legal resident, that flood if illegalimmigrants will slow to a trickle because we will stop importing them, no longer economical to exploit. Why are so many americans blaming the victims of the bad policies of two nations? |
