Of course they would. And those that say they wouldn't, only say it because they're ashamed to admit they would. The truth is, no matter what the situation is like, people againts legal or illegal immigrants will find a way excuse their hatred. I wish they would take the time to try and put themselves in these individuals(illegal immigrants) shoes. What would you do if you lived in the middle of a war and your country did Absolutely nothing to protect you or your family against this? How would you be able to go to sleep every night knowing that you can not protect your children from your own government? If you knew that by sending your child to school you ran the risk of having a guerilla group recruit your child or worse, kill them? What if you applied time after time for a work visa but were dinied everytime because of your lack of resources? What many fortunate U.S born citizens don't understand is that most illegal immigrants do try to come to the US legally but are unable to because they were denied the opportunity time after time. Would you rather watch your children starved to death? or would you take a chance, risk your life to try to get to a country where you know that you're not wanted, but know that you stand a chance to see your kids live another day and hope that one day, you will be able to protect them by bringing them to the US. A place where they'll continuously face racism but know they can have the opportunity to live a semi-normal life. NO ONE CHOOSES THE PLACE WHERE THEY'RE BORN. Is it illegal? Yes. But, what would you do if it was your family?

If they do everything thats required to gain citizenship then no, there would be no problem. Its the ones that sneak their way hear that anger me. Illegal immigrants steal jobs from those that could really use them.

None at all..Great people, great heritage and history..I'd much rather have Mexican/South and Central Americans than any of the followers of Islam, regardless of nation/culture.

well i am not against the undocumented being here but i'd like to comment than i see complains from the people who u are talking about about the Mexicans ALL the time therefor it would be hard for me to believe they actually would not have problems with the Mexicans if they all were documented . sadly this is not the only country in which such attitudes ( which thankfully are not of the general population ) are being displayed . my opinion about that particular kind of people would be different if they did not lived to talk bad about the Mexicans and about how is it than they , the Mexicans never do this and that or i had not wittness how is it than they live saying than they are a faillure in their country and will make us the same . by the way a lot of people around the world do not like the Americans because they see those bad attitudes and believe than everyone in America is that way which trully is not the case , still even if we are not that way we should recognize than those bad attitudes are part of our society if we ever want to be seen by anyone in the world with out being thought of as people who are just spolied and uncapable of understanding others . the first step to fix our problems is to look at ourselves and recognize our mistakes .

Your key word would be "legally." I don't think most people have problems with legal immigrants. The problem lies in the fact that the illegal immigrants are the ones that are not documented, not paying taxes, but still using up our federal aide. The US has a system in place that allows a certain percentage of immigrants from different countries to ensure equal representation of immigrants. They allow for these people who apply/register to come to the US and eventually take a citizenship test. They have proven they can assimilate into our culture and become "American." America was created based off of immigrants. Remember Ellis Island? Yes, that's where thousands of immigrants registered once they arrived and became documented. If Mexicans didn't come into this country illegally, (not all but the ones we're talking about here), I don't think we would have such a problem with the whole illegal immigration issue. To be fair, it's not only Mexico. There are plenty of other people here illegally from different countries.

Remember, key word... "ILLEGAL"...

No, because I know at least 3 people who are close to me personally that have done it legally. I have no issue with them. In general, any illegal alien should be deported and only allow those willing to come here legally. That is all..for real
