And I was just wounder if there is anyone out their that can tell me about there interview.....i just want to no the question asks and any good advice for me and my husband will be great.....thanks for reading and helping me have a great day.....bye

Honestly I believe it all depends on who will interview you. My husband and I just had our interview yesterday and let me tell you it wasn't what we were expecting, I also asked what sort of questions to look forward to but from my own experience let me tell you that the questions we were asked they were very simple, the only question the officer asked me about our marriage was when did we get married.. our interview didn't take more than 10minutes (I guess we were just lucky). From then on all of the questions were referred to me.. asked about my address, if we have cell phones, he asked for my mothers first name, my dad's first name, then went on to ask for our marriage certificate, birth certificate (mine, my husbands and our sons) all of the original ones along with a copy.. and that was basically all.. he did not asked anything else as to where we met, when... or any sort of personal question.. I think we were just lucky.. right after he had everything he had asked for he took a copy of my passport came back and said that everything was approved and that I should be receiving my green card on the mail within the next 2-3 weeks.. But good luck with everything, do not worry or get nervous. |

Hi, i went to my interview back in November, they will ask questions about your marriage like how did you guys meet? when and where did you get married? how long have you been together? things like that, also take a lot of pictures, bills (that are under both of your names) and things like that. Follow Pat's Angel's answer. She is right. I also recommend that you study a copy of the G-325 forms that were submitted so that you have your dates and facts straight. |
