The true cause is lack of enforcement. If we would just enforce all immigration laws, there would be no jobs, you would have to be here legally to get one. |

I disagree. The regular workers who pay taxes to pay for schools, but also use them, and pay taxes to pay for hospitals, but when elderly will need government services, get no benefit, get their schools and health care ruined and get their wages driven down.
The multinational corporations make more money on cheap labor.
The perpetrators steal education from our children and health care from our sick, and funds for their families that our families won't have available.
WE are the victims. |

Learn how to spell correctly or use a spell checker program BEFORE submitting a question.By not doing so does not add any credulity to any question that you may have no matter what the topic. It only serves to reinforce the notion of an uneducated person asking a question that may or may not be relevant. If one cannot even spell correctly it seems that there is a faulty thought process behind any position that you may take on a given subject. |

I agree that is a large part of the problem, but still...reform is not the answer. Enforcement of current laws is the answer. Punish the employers who knowingly hire illegals, including people in the private sector. They are breaking the law just as much by hiring these people. The laws are good, they just need to be enforced...not enforcing them is like blaming a door for not keeping people out when nobody closes or locks the door. |

The argument for illegal labor is they do jobs Americans won't do. Illegals began with jobs like crop picking and lawn cutting. Now they have displaced restaurant chefs, drywallers, concrete workers, road workers and countless other professions. All those professions now have such low wages that Americans won't do those jobs either. All the while some employers are making a lot of money by exploiting illegals. As time goes on more and more jobs will be broken down into jobs that illegals can fill cheaper. Someday your job will be affected as well either directly or indirectly you will earn less and have fewer benefits. |

Please......it's not America anymore. Seperate big business greed from the typical American and you definately have a case. Big business has gotten too big to be American anymore......they're GLOBAL now. My judgement is very clear on whats going on. I know right where to direct my anger.
I know exactly why they're flooding our country with cheap labor and right where it will end up. I know illegals think we're against them personally and that we're denying them something. Shame they don't see the picture clear either.
I am tired of being lied to.....I am not stupid and that's why I fight it. I work those jobs they're bringing cheap labor in for and I know we don't need them. If there's reform....it's reform on this "cheap labor" business and getting these head honchos off their high horse.
The illegals have the same needs as I do. Is taking my job so I can 't survive an answer? Is their human right more important than mine? I didn't get a silver spoon in my mouth when I was born. I deal with the same things they do. I know where to place my anger. I know illegal immigration is just a part of the problem. But all I can fight with is the law. We could go in circles from now until doomsday as to which came first the chicken or the egg......who deserves what, on down the line. I don't HATE illegals.. I seriously hate their attitude. I can only deal with what's going on now, in the frame work I've been given. I too am human......and have as much a right to be here as anyone else. |

In my opinion I feel that most Latinos who are illegal immigrants, are afraid of what is happening in their own countries, and want to leave as most of the Latin countries are corrupt and are willing to kill their own people no matter what.
Also you are correct in saying that politics plays a major role as politicians will use the poor illegal immigrants to try and get votes for their party.
drug lords and rich Mexican aristocrats also play a major role in this arena, they like to spread propaganda about how much the Americans hate Mexicans, this plays into the secular progressive mind set and before you know it you have money crossing the border going into the hands of dishonest politicians. who have a vested interest in low wage workers,
it is sad but it is true.
If Mexico and other Latin countries would clean up their act and quit being greedy with their peoples money we would not have a problem with illegal immigration as we do now. |

Whoa! I could not have said it better. Politicians just want money out of our pockets. We as tax payers pay for illegal immigarants to come here and take our jobs for cheap labor. The fault is of the Americans. More people should know the issues, but they don't. As a result we elect those that can not fix the problem. |

This country is a disgrace. We are a bunch of users/ losers. Then we cry cause we are getting scared of losing our whiteness. We all need to at the least learn Spanish and Vietnamese so we can understand our new language.
Get over it my white brothers, this country is turning brown and we have to deal with it.
The government aint gonna change nothin! We just have to accept it. We do whatever the media tells us to do. We believe everything they tell us.
Its all about money.
People are always gonna hate whitey cause he's white. White = authority and power slave trader.
People think whitey caused slavery. they wont ever let us forget. We will always be hated. |

Yes, the desire for cheap labor is a problem. But people in third world countries are immigrating all across the globe for the same reason. They want to make a better life for themselves, they don't want to be poor anymore. The problem is once they get to Canada, England, France, America, etc. they remain poor. Most immigrants don't have a true picture of what to expect once they get to these countries. That is why Scandanavian countries, and other european countries are issuing films that highlight the true life of immigrants. |

People that sneak across the border. The want the benefits they get here. The illegals don't care that they are breaking the law. They are not taking responsibility for their actions and blame everyone else for their situation. Sorry but I have no sympathy for 20 to 30 million people that are here illegally.
Remember that this is not a racist issue. It is about the LAW. It doesn't matter WHERE the illegal alien is from, they must leave YESTERDAY!
They are NOT "undocumented workers." How dare you! You make it sound like they only deserve a parking ticket. I assume you claim they haven't committed any crimes. WRONG! They became criminals as soon as they put that first toe across the border.
NO AMNESTY. JAIL THE EMPLOYERS. DEPORT AND/OR JAIL ALL ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINALS. |

Here is an easy fix. Throw out all of the illegals and lower the minimum wage. |

Illegal aliens exist only because the INS is hamstrung in its enforcement. It's time to get the politics out of law enforcement.
We need to quit sending them straight back to whatever country they come from. We should revive the chain gang and make it a mandatory two to five for a violation of immigration law. Point them to some big boulders and tell them to make little ones while they build two solid stone walls from coast to coast and then send them back.
Sew the space in between with vibration sensative land mines. Then see if they still want to come here. |

The continuation of the illegal immigrant invasion is the direct result of NAFTA. The same NAFTA, that Bill Clinton signed us up for. Notice I said "continuation". |

Well said.
Unfortunately, Americans care little for the future...beyond their next trip to the mall that is.
That's one reform we need. How about free trade along with it?
