US Citizenship information - UK?

I am living in the UK and I am 15 years old. My family is planning to move to the US in the future and my dad and my grandfather were both US Citizens. Will this help us in anyway, and will it help me to become a actual US Citizen at some point?
If not then what would speed the process, but at the same time offering me education?
Additional Details
My dad is not a US born citizen though, he was born in Jamaica but he spent quite a bit of time in New York, as well as living with his parents in the US for some of the time

It should, especially if your father did not renounce his citizenship.
If he is still a US citizen, he needs to take his passport and your birth certificate to the US embassy in the UK and have you registered as a US citizen born overseas. You would be issued a US passport.
If he did renounce it, then he would have to apply for residency just like an immigrant.

With your father being a US citizen you probably have a good/easy chance of becoming one yourself. Check with the US embassy there. If I were you I wouldn't give up my UK citizenship though (try to get dual if you can). |

Go to the U.S. Embassy in the U.K. with proof that your father was a U.S. Citizen. If you have that documentation, you are also a citizen of the U.S. Also bring along your birth certificate, which should show your fathers nationality. |
