USA AND AUSTRALIAN PASSPORT?

i recently became an US Citizen ,i applied and received my US passport and i still have my current Australia passport i was told to leave on my US passport and enter Australia with my Australian passport is this correct ??? also when i return there will be no stamp in my US passport because i used my Australian passport to enter Australia , wont the INS/CUSTOMS find that questionable????

Not in the slightest questionable.

The US requires you to enter & leave the US on the US passport. Dual citizenship is perfectly legal. If they ask, you simply say that you have dual citizenship and entered the other country on the other passport.

I travel in and out of the US on multiple passports and have never had a problem.
