You would have a valid complaint if this immigrant were an illegal alien...but he was here legally with the full knowledge of our government...which had no way of knowing when he was 8 years old that they should keep him out just because at the end of his senior year in college he would flip out.

How can you put blame on the USA for that???? The guy had a Visa to be here. The blame lies on society and the lack of willing to do something with a kid that was apparently disturbed. If someone would have took him seriously when he got in trouble for stalking the 2 girls in 2005, and for not ignoring the signs in his writings we would have not seen this deadly massacre. Allowing immigrants into the country with a Visa no less does not put them to blame.

Some of these incidents received nationwide attention..others were smaller and received statewide ..

the problem is, that in this country, we have NO expectation of security for our children at ANY educational institution..

with the exception of Argentina's incident in 2004 no school violence with the same gravity of seriousness has been reported from Mexico down to the tip of South America...

we complain about how Rio, Sao Paulo, Tijuana, Juarez, Mexico, DF, Cali Columbia, and SEVERAL other central and south american cities are dangerous YET...these incidents DO NOT occur at ANYWHERE near the same rate as in the USA and in Europe which had the 2nd largest amount of school incidents...

aren't these the countries who are responsible for the greater influx of immigrants???

These are just a few of the smarter people involved in such incidents...more often than not...the perpetrators were either rather intelligent or..they were teenage students with real self image and self esteem issues that could have been resolved..

It doesn't have to do anything with him not being a U.S. citizen, but mainly with all the crappy side effects anti-depressants do have and have people make horrible decisions. It's important when people are prescribed certain medication that they are monitored.
