Visas and marriage and birth and family move?

Greatings all,

I live in the uk (have done all my life, I am male, 28, rented property and earn £16,500 ish a year) and I will be marrying my fiance in June 2010 in the UK. My fiance is currently living in the usa with her parents where she has done all her life (age 24) we haven't started the process of visa's yet but we believe we know what to do...ish. Does this sound correct to those who know?.....

She would need to apply for a "Application form VAF1F - Marriage visitor" then when/if granted, come over to stay with me (can't work, this visa won't allow, i know unless she has a work permit, but not sure, but i can afford her out of work till a while after were married anyways) then get married within 6 months. We are hoping she would be able to come over from the 1st of April(ish) 2010 then marry in June 2010. we will then apply for a spouse visa (lasts 2 years) she would be able to work then and help save up for our first child. Come September 2010, we would like to start our way with our first child for that child to be born around June 2011 (would be born in England). We have talked about alot of this for a long time and we would like to move back over to America about 1-3 months after our child to be is born. Her parents in America make enough money for them to be our/my sponsors for me to be able to move over there on a perminate (for now, may change in 20+years, but who knows) basis, but to be honest, when married, i would believe i would only need to fill in a I-130 form but i'm sure that the American goverment would like for us to have a home to live so we would be staying with them till I find a job. If I am right, I wouldn't need a job before moving over there as I would be on a spouse visa + would have sponsorship if required so I wouldn't be sponging from the us goverment as I have no intention of doing that anyways. We are not 100% sure if the above regarding visa's is correct, but it sounds about right, also we are not 100% sure about our new born, we know that our newborn would need a passport (british i'm asuming as we would be in britian at this point) but would my wife to be need to apply for a visa for our child (would be age 1-3 months) or can he/she just come with us on a british passport the sort out a new passport for them later when we have settled down a bit more a while later.

we have many web links so we aren't really asking for links, thanks for the offer of people who would just like to add a link and a tiny comment.

We are asking if the above sounds right and are we missing anything? does it sounds about right?

this is for people who have been through the same process or just know.

Thank you most kindly for any imput you think could benifit us in our wonderful life together as a family in the making <3

The strategy sounds fine. THe child will likely have dual citizenship
and you can apply at the US embassy for a US passport.
As a resident of the UK your wife should be able to file the I-130
at the US immigration office in the embassy. For info on
US immigration and visa matters or to make an appointment
with that office the phone is 09042 450 100.
