How thrilled would the United States be if some bounty hunter from Mexico named “El Perro” came across the border and started dragging Mexican rapists and killers back into Mexico? We’d give him a medal and urge him to keep up the good work.
So when our “perro,” our “Dog,” went into Mexico and dragged an American scumbag rapist out of that country and brought him back to the United States, you’d think the government of Mexico would thank us for cleaning up our own messes.
But no. Instead they demand bounty hunter Duane “Dog” Chapman be extradited to Mexico to face kidnapping charges. How screwed up is that? Hey, how about this, Mexico? You send a few bounty hunters here and take back a few thousand of the criminals who have snuck into the country illegally and we’ll call it even. |

It's a joke and we as a nation should be ashamed at ourselves for letting something like that happen. Mexico is embarrassed and the way they cover it up is by going after the man (and his family) that did it. Maybe if the Mexican government got off their asses we wouldn't have to send a bounty hunter into their country try and retrieve a rapist, or worry about their citizens over running our country! |

Is this something new? The last I heard was in Sept. 2006, when he was placed under monitored house arrest in Hawaii, waiting to see whether he, his family and other bounty agents were to be returned to Mexico on their trumped up charges against him. Long live Dog! Mexico needs to clean up their own backyard before they complain about a legitimate bounty arrest of a multi-rapist. |

I don't support him if he violated Mexican law. He's not special and shouldn't be treated any differently than a Mexican bounty hunter would be who violated US law in pursuit of his prey. |

i can't believe this...this board is FULL of people who are SOOO insulted that mexicans do not follow our laws. first they want all of them out, then they call them cowards for commiting crimes and running, blah blah blah.
dog was OUT of mexican jail on bail, perfectlyl safe in a resort tourist town. his lawyer advised him to FLEE the country. so...yeah, he broke the law. if a mexican citizen had his lawyer over here in the US saying,"oh, just get out of here, run, they'll never do anything about it."...we'd be pissed. if he'd stuck around and settled things, he wouldn't be in this mess. how can we expect mexicans/mexico to repect our laws and cooperate, when we so clearly treat their country and system like a complete joke? we want them to work with us, but we won't work with them. that's crap and you can't expect them to take it kindly.
the issue isn't about andrew luster. yeah, of course the guy did a great thing! i support him on that. but he didn't do it the legal way (and he COULD have! he chose not to) his mistake was running away afterwards and not waiting for things to be settled. his crime was a misdemeanor at best...he was in no real danger for going to jail, he just didn't want to wait around and settle it the right way. |

I really like DOG and hope they would just drop it. I think it sends a very bad message that you can run and hide in Mexico. If he did not get that guy he would still be preying on women. |

Only Mexico would ARREST the Good guy for removeing a DirtBag from there streets. They claim they have an issue with the way he did it. It wouldn't have mattered to me if he had brought that creep back in a body bag. DOG should have gotten a MEDAL instead Mexico gives him the Shaft. |

Come on people, the Chapmans make good show copy. In spite of conventional non-wisdom, Mexico does have laws against kidnapping, rapist or not. I'm sure Dog Chapman will be OK, the production company has more shows to film. |

I have to agree with nonalcoholic, commit a crime go to jail. If you are an American and you are in a foreign country don't pull out your constitution and think it has anything to do with anything. Is this a new arrest or the old one ?.I'm not sure about him,he seems to be a walking contradiction of values and principles.
But then I'm not a fan, I don't watch his show (after the firsts couple I lost all interest).
I'm against anything Mexico does to any American.
