No they werent the records indicate that people migrated since there were people. No country has an "indigenous" population, just earlier and later migrations. The trick is for the indigenous population to preserve itself from the migrants. The great wall of china is an example of this. The Huns & Rome etc.

Actually, there have been studies that say that other countries came into the mainland before the Mayflower arrived. The vikings and the Chinese were said to have crossed over from the so-called "land bridge" that allegedly existed between the continents of North America and Europe. That's apparently why so many Native Americans look Asian.

The only true Americans are the Native American Indians. The rest of us are immigrants. No matter how bad our laws are What's Legal is Legal and what's illegal is illegal. Why can't people get this. Do things the legal way. Period!!

It's only illegal if there is a law that says it is.

Before a certain time ALL immigrants were allowed in. Then the rules changed. Only a certain amount of people for another country could come in each year legally as immigrants.

Are you talking about illegal aliens or terrorists? Terrorists could come in on either border. But the majority of those who are non terrorists but still illegal aliens do come in over the southern border.

It's not a racist thing. Race has nothing to do with it. It's a matter of volume. If that many people from any country were coming in illegally the problem would still be the same.

wow, no. You really need to do some studying. First of all, there were no laws back them prohibiting coming, so there can no be "illegals" Also, the Mexicans/Spaniards also stole land from the native americans. If that is the best argument you can make, you really should do your research first.

America was NOT a country back then, and there WERE no LAWS in place, so Americans can NOT be considered ILLEGAL ALIENS!!!! NOW,we are a sovereign country,WITH laws.

Yes they were. The lesson from our past is the Mexican immigrants today should do as our forefathers did. Don't come here and work in our low wage not wanted by anyone jobs, take over The U.S. in the name of Mexico. FYI: The Nazis passed many laws that made many terrible acts legal. Remember, just because something is legal does not in of itself make it just, moral or right.

Listen, we conquered this land, so it's ours. Mexicans let in criminals and refuse to assimilate into our culture, the only immigrants in history to do this.
