I agree with you, I have yet to drive by an orchard or strawberry field and seen it filled with white people working from sun up to sundown picking fruit.

But give people a reason to complain and they will - but they would never think to work a day in their shoes and see how difficult it is.

it's not that nobody wants it, it's the employers don't want to pay a legal wage. why hire 2 citizens when you can hire 3-4 illegals with minimal repercussions from the government?

There is nothing wrong with American chump, and you capitalize the A in America! Very few illegal aliens are making less than the minimum wage and most make more than the minimum wage. They work in factories, roofing, and construction and they earn a fair rate of pay. Not all illegals are poor, over 4 million illegals came here on visas and they have overstayed. Many of them are college educated and are working at high-paying jobs.

There are hundreds of thousands of crimes committed every year by illegal aliens including rape, murder, manslaughter, smuggling, identity theft, drug dealing, and child molestation. Save your sob story for someone who gives a damn about the illegal alien invaders.

The problem lies on 2 lines. First you have to remember that we live in a white supremacy society and second in the United States money speaks louder then our judicial system and government. From saying we are a white supremest government i mean that in general people believe that races that came from Europe are inherently better then other races. Sure people may think everyone is equal, its just that the white races are just a little bit better then the other ones. You tell me no?! Well, tell me this, do u feel more comfortable going to a fair where there's people you're own race? Although you probably won't admit it out loud you know deep inside u do. That is why as I and many others can tell u that usually most "white" america won't go to an event that is dominantly attended by Mexican or another minority race in the US. Another fact is that "white" America feels threatened by the large growing presence of immigrants in the United States. Mostly because people do not want to lose their power hold on the high well paid jobs and government positions. As one disney movie can also be used as an analagy, "A Bug's Life". Hopper the main Antagonist of the movies claims "It's not about the food it's about keeping those ants in line." The same meaning can be brought into our society today. It's not about the money, it's about keeping those immigrants from power and make them try to think the lighter skinned people are better then the darker shaded.

Obviously you haven't been paying attention. The illegals don't want those jobs either. They want your job and mine. Many Americans work those low income, deadly and dirty jobs. Don't you watch the news? Those were Americans that died in the mines. Those are Americans losing their lives in Iraq. My husband is an electrician and has to fight for his jobs against illegals working for non union electrical companies. Maybe your job will be next and you will understand.

That arguement doesn't hold water....an INS/FBI report on 2006 illegals, reports that only 2% of illegals actually work in fields picking crops, but 41% of illegals are on welfare! And 43% of all food stamps are issued to illegals, and 41% of unemployment checks are to illegals and 58% of ALL welfare payments are to illegals, and 62% of illegals are working for cash and NOT PAYING TAXES ON THEIR WAGES. Does anyone see a problem here? Obviously our elected politicians are way to influenced by lobbyists to do anything about it. Some say a border fence won't work....then why is there a fence around every prison???? BECAUSE FENCES WORK

All the company's want is cheap labor to save allot of money for the owner who most likely is stinking rich ,so they are taking advantage of the illegals almost to the point that they are salves. who can make it now a days on 200 a week? only if ulive with 15 others who make the same amount of money in a one bedroom appt.

actually, when people hire illegals to do the jobs that "we dont want to do" im sure many teenagers will tell you that they would be happy to work those jobs. And there are thousands of jobless people in this country that probably feel the same way. I mean, it kind of pisses me off when i have a decent education and still have to compete with someone who cant even speak english for a position at wal mart.

We have to take and subsidize their kids in our overcrowded schools at the expense of our own children's failing education. Also, we subsidize their health care all the time their very presence undercuts our wages and benefits.

Solve that, and we may feel differently about it.

Only 25 percent of the "agriculture jobs" are filled by illegal aliens. The rest are filled by legal immigrants and American citizens.

Illegal aliens work in many job fields in the U.S., and only a small percentage work "picking fruit", and illegal aliens working in agriculture is not throughout the country, mostly concentrated in the southwest/border states . Most areas you go to, there isn't an illegal alien to be found. Guess who works there?? Americans and legal immigrants, working for fair wages with benefits.

Their is no thing as a job no American will do. It is just a matter of pay. The problem is when we have illegals coming over they accept these jobs because it is all that is available, some companies are happy because the have workers that they can threat like crap. Who are they going to tell?

Who says no legal wants those jobs? YOU? How do you know that? Construction jobs have been done LONG before illegals snuck their way over the border. They've also historically paid a living wage for the middle class family. So has landscaping. So has housekeeping. And janitorial. And maid services.

Just because illegals make it more PROFITABLE for the business by working for no benefits or deductions for taxes and unemployment insurance, doesn't mean that it's RIGHT. IT's NOT.

I don't know if YOU realize, but I own a 100 acre organic farm. It's VERY labor intensive. I hire only legals, about 3/4 of which are native Americans. 1/4 ARE immigrants --- legal ones holding H-2B visas. That's the LEGAL way to hire immigrants...those that WANT to obey the law. They are more expensive...but I have no problems selling everything I produce and I get a good price for it. (What started out as my little hobby farm has morphed into a gold mine in a matter of 5 years.)

I pay what it takes to get legal workers and I pass the cost on to the consumer. That's the way things are supposed to work. If I EVER caught my farm manager doing anything illegal, he'd be gone in a flat second.

For larger farms, harvesting equipment is available.

Picture: Sol. man with wife and 6 kids come into our convenience store purchase 6 gallons of milk, 6 loaves of bread, 2 bags of bananas, potatoes, and counter full of candy. They pay with EBT card. I am curtious thank them and ask if they would need anything else. The man asks for smokes, which he can barely pronounce. He pays with a wad of cash he takes from his pocket, they leave in a 2002-2004 Chevy Van. Next customer is a white female with 3 children (youngest with cold/nose..running down face). WF pays for 1/2 gallon of milk with barely enough change out of the bottom of her pocket. I thank her politely and she goes off with her children holding the youngest on hip while oldest carries milk to and old 1980 Ford Tempo white, dented, rusty and no hub caps. Explaining things like this and seeing this day to day everyone talks. She has lived here all her life and can barely make ends met, yet they come from affar and are granted EBT and have pockets full. That is what starts peoples emotions. I respect the Indians these days since I realize they were here first, where are they now? How do they get by are there any full- blooded left. The first on land of the Free...what will happen to our children next....melting pot...not divided pot. Conserve what we have!

i know! the job illegals do are no education low-paying jobs. i dont why why people are complaining. If they are citizens of the US, the should stop complaining, get an education (if you dont have money, financial aid is available), and then get a high paying job. Of course, pray that those high paying jobs wont be gone thanks to outsourcing. And you cant blame illegals for outsourcing, its all thanks to globalization.
