What about the Mexicans?

Let's face it, President Bush has been sending national guard troops to the Mexican borders, and by doing this will not mitigate the illegal crossing, as well as deporting them to their country. Though the security may somewhat increase, those with strong incentive will still do whatever it takes to make it to the United States if not soon enough. They will do it again, life or death, if found or caught.

The best way to resolve the difficult situation is to establish the guest-worker program, where illegal immigrants can come to America working legally, and eventually work their way to a permanent residency or be a naturalized citizen for years to come. As you should know those illegal immigrants have some effects on our economy by taking crucial jobs. Some of them work very hard making ends meet. However for the minority who came to United States conducting criminal, illegal activity or business should not be pardoned and be punished by the justice.

We have to remember that United States is a diverse nation made up of various races from around the world, and we shouldn't be using military force or deportation to deal with illegal immigrants. In doing so will not result a remedy. We have to be proactive about it rather than being reactive toward the "illegal Mexican" issue.

We have laws for a reason. If you break the law you are a criminal and should be punished. If they want to come to this country, come legally or don't come at all.

I kinda think Mexicans are freaky. This is why:
A WHILE ago, I went to Cancun, Mexico with my mom and sister, Sophia. There was this guy and he kept staring @ me. Anyway, on the way out, we got in out cab, and the guy was waving to me goodbye! It might not sound too freaky but it was!! Over all, I don't think Mexicans should come into OUR country!

BTW, we BOUGHT most of Mexico from the Mexican government and anything we didn't purchase we won fair and square in a war. Should the French have a right to "take back" Louisiana (which we also BOUGHT)?

Yea the original Mexicans can come back, but not Mexicans born in Mexico unless they get papers done and come legally. They they can have all the rights entitled to them.

I doubt they ever lived here, but if people give up residency or citizenship, they are not automatically entitled to get it back.

They have to follow the rules. If they do that I have no problem with them coming here.

As long as they come here legally, learn to speak English which is the language of this country, and support themselves without the aid of taxpayers (like those of us born here have to do) I think we should welcome them. The Mexicans are very nice people... but they don't have the RIGHT to be here unless they follow the appropriate steps.

Maybe we should send all the scary, overly tatooed, Mexican-American gang bangers to Mexico and trade them for some sweet, hardworking families who want to move here.
