What and who are refugees, why do refugees come to Australia and why does Australia accept refuge?

I have an assignment but I just can't find the answer!! HELP ME!!! It's due tomorrow, please, I beg you please, help me.

refugees are people who have ran away from their countries due to war (e.g. Iraq warP) or unfairness. They go to a different country in an attempt to start a new life- where they are safe. Australia accepts refuges because it's the most humane thing to do- they can't just leave thousands of people to be killed.

Also, in the future, some countries may return the favour if by any chance a war goes on in australia and the people want the run away to another country- at lease until the end of the war.

They are "elligal people" Australia don't want them but they'll do anything to get Ausi money and visa (in many cases)

Refugees come from lots of different in the world most of them come because their government has been unfair to them and in rare cases there has been people getting killed.
