Instead of Canada, go to Alaska. It's just as beautiful as Canada, but without the huge taxes to pay for free healthcare. Also, in Alaska you get a montly check from the State called the Alaska Preservation Fund (or something like that.) A free, tax free check to you, from the state. IT IS AWESOME! |

1. It's stinking cold in the winter with the exception of a few places like Toronto, southern part of Vancouver Island and Vancouver proper.
2. The crime capital of Canada is Edmonton.
3. You can vacation in Cuba if you aren't American. It costs about $500 per person/week.
4. If you are into it, British Columbia is actually the cannabis capital of North America.
5. You might be tasered at the airport by R.C.M.P. which could put a crimp in your day.
6. Yes, you pay about an extra $5000 in taxes for universal health care but that is about what the average American pays to their insurance company as a premium. |

1.) Accent- here, we have some Canadians that have an accent and we make fun of 'em for that. But if you go there your gonna get that joke too.
2.) COLD weather- Canada is cold about 1/3 of the year and is chillly for another 1/3 of it with a couple months of summer.
Hope it helps. |

It's too far from Australia! We have better weather, and(for the monarchists) we have the Queen too. We even have snow, but we keep it up in the mountains where it doesn't tie up the traffic. Sydney is the most beautiful city in the world, and(despite a few problems) we have an excellent rail, bus and ferry system, on which I can travel for $2.50 a day anywhere in the Sydney area(since I am fifty 19 years old.) |

Does Canada want you? That is a serious answer because it seems that many people think that they can just decide to move here. It doesn't work that way.
The cons of living in Canada:
Well sure it is cold, any dingbat that can look at a globe can deduce that. But most people live in the southern and coastal parts which are the warmer areas. However if you are inclined to tropical areas, Canada isn't for you.
Taxes are higher than in the US, if that gets your knickers knotted - stay where you are.
It will be harder to buy a gun than in the US, and there is no constitution that will guarantee your right to run around with one.
Gays have equal rights, if you have a problem with that you won't be happy here.
Canadians like sin taxes, smoking and drinking are more expensive here than most places. Heck there's hardly any place you can smoke inside these days. |

the winter is VERY dreary..the lack of sunlight does make a huge difference (but vancouver, British columbia is fairly warm) the taxes are high.but health care is basically free. its a nice country. low violence (unless you're in a gang) but kinda a high crime rate..and low minimum wage and hard to get a good job. |

Well, that depends on the exact location where u wanna move,i can tell u from my own personal experience the more u go to the north, the more absolutely demential freezing cold u will have to face especially during the winter i do not know where u live right now so weather is definitely something to consider the currency exchange is another thing maybe u will have to learn French there is much division about the language u may not like their gastronomy and not many things to do unless u like winter sports |
