What are some of the reasons why so many Mexicans immigrate to the U.S.?

2. They know MANY MANY US companies now rely on their hard work to succeed, make huge profits, and this benefits the US Citizens because the companies can keep their prices low. It's a WIN WIN WIN situation.

3. To provide a better future for their families whether they are here, or in Mexico.

4. To escape poverty and the corrupt Government.

Better living conditions here than in their homeland. They also get paid ALOT more here than in Mexico, then they send the money back to their family in Mexico. It is rather a deleterious thing for our economy though. Some countries, such as El Salvador, actually use the American dollar as their currency.

I can't speak for all of those coming here from Mexico, but I would guess that it's because America is viewed as the land of opportunity. Wages here are generally better as are living conditions.

You go where there's work. Have you read the other postings? Many Americans are moving because they don't have jobs in the US. Many people from Arizona are moving to Texas because homes are cheaper there. Many people move from big cities to smaller cities because of cheaper housing.

To provide a better life for their families. Many of them come here to work, for a fair wage, then they send money back to their family in Mexico. Although that sounds like a nice thing to do, they need to do it legally. Plenty of them seem to come here just for a big party, free healthcare, welfare, food stamps...They are practically stealing from us, because our taxes are going toward the free healthcare they get because they do not have insurance. When we get in a car accident with them, even if is their fault, we pay...does that make sense? NO, go home!
