What are some reasons that Mexicans are coming to the United States illegally?

The economic motivation is the strongest. There is also more generally opportunity in the US.

Its the same reason ANY illegals come to the US. Being poor in the US is a higher standard of living than most developing nations average citizens have at home.

Main reason is that the US will take care of them once they get here. Look at California they spend hundreds of millions each year just on medical and they are not even citizens. California has become the biggest economic disaster because of their handouts.

Better economy situation...being able to afford a car and house...and because of the anchor law they come here to pop kids so they would become americans easily:-)

Some Mexicans want to escape from being imprisoned for their political views. Some want to escape civil unrest which has become widespread in some areas where the Mexican government and local citizens don't see eye to eye on certain issues. Others are coming to the States to seek medical attention for illnesses which they cannot be treated for in their country. And, still others just want to live the American Dream they've heard so much about. They'll soon find out that what used to be the land of opportunity has taken a turn to the land of foreclosures and bankruptcies.

Some come here to present their mexican culture, and to smart mouth Americans on how we should understand our laws & our constitution, to wave their mexican flags, and thumb their noses at us- Americans, like the answerer above-"oldman 56" a.k.a. "Mando the Y.T`s sh*t eater"-besides freeloading off of us, in EVERY above mentioned way...And keep in mind it`s the U.S. lame system that allows them to do this. so we should "kick ourselves" for that-if we could.

First of all, sweety... you probably mean "undocumented"... fosucing on mexicans is not only ignorant but a racist statement. Undocumented are not all from mexico... they come from all over the world... asians, russians, africans, latin america, all over the world.... the only reason why u only hear mexicans is b/c they are hard working people... and b/c they are latinos.

There's so much hatred towards the latino community b/c americans cannot stand the fact that america is a home for them to. America is a multi-culture country and it as created by immigrants. People now in days just don't care helping the world, and have turned out to be very racist and selfish.

There are no other reasons for others to wanna come to america but to succeed and be better than what they are able to do in their countries.... and to provide for their families.... most mexican people only come here to work and go back home.... but they do deserve the money they make b/c they dont rob nobody or are hurting anyone... they work. and people can't stand that.... people are just so spoiled and selfish to wanna understand. these people are humans and have a family just like you and me and they do deserve a chance to have a better life.... IN GOD WE TRUST? they might need to change that but obviously nobody here does anymore.... is very sad and dissapointing.

The motor that drives any immigration is to meet their needs it could be biological, environmental, physical, spiritual, etc. If any creature is going to immigrate where is going to be worst is not going to immigrate. The basic force to immigrate to the USA illegally is because law of supply and demand. In mexico job opportunities are scarced and most salaries for the jobs is not even enough to eat. That already puts pressure on anybody to immigrate to any other place where to meet the basic needs. What would you do if it would be the other way around? If you wounldn't find a decent job here in the USA, you would be compelled to look for another horizon.
The USA has demand for labor. and contrary to the argument of the opponents of illegal immigration that they perform only cleap labor. Illegal immigrants constitute a strong muscle in all activities of the economy. A radio announcer decided that he was not going to eat more lettuce because that industry employs illegal immigrants. He needs to lealize, that he would have to stop going to the dentists, the restaurants, the stores, the cleaners, the car shops, the hotels, the hospitals, the malls, buying cloth, a house, etc... This announcer might be hurting the economy instead of helping...
