Speaking legal....they have shared with us a wonderful culture that most do not get the opportunity to see regularly...I lived in the Southwest and the influence of Hispanic culture was very prevalent.
The design, use of color, the handcrafted iron work, the cuisine....they have contributed many wonderful things that have benefited our culture... |

Contributions of great food, culture, music, festivals, beer, etc. I am an English expat, I am fairly new to the United States and have moved from London to San Diego. I feel that Hispanics have contributed and influenced this town tremendously as the name San Diego itself is Hispanic. |

When I read your question I knew that losers like 'lifeloom' would reply. I spent most of my life in San Diego, where black, white, hispanic, cuban, vietnamese, etc., all contributed equally to make us a wonderfully diverse society with good and bad in each population. For the most part the Hispanics have brought us romance, work ethics, Godliness and a beautiful second language. They are also community leaders, mayors, bankers, doctors and merchants. Those who come here illegally show us that pride is in work, no matter what it is, they take jobs we won't, because we are too proud to pick lettuce (more like we're too lazy, they're too proud not to work) but we're (white) not too proud to collect welfare. (Note that 50% of all welfare recipients & 95% of all serial killers are white. The other 50% of welfare recipients & the other 5% of serial killers are made up of a racial diversity), I am white caucasion and think that my race is no better or no worse than anyother human beings race. |
