Ive been working in canada for 2 years and theses a law that all contractworkerss have to go home from the country of origin for four months and have to re-apply..now were here in our country we have all our of the documents ready and just waiting for the visa but there are some people telling us that theres a lot of people getting denied even if its only re entering canada..so i want to know what are the reasons of getting denied even if its re entering canada..hope you can help me

This law is only for low skilled workers and is designed so that Canada doesn't end up with a whole bunch of low skilled workers hanging around when the economy is bad and Canadians are unemployed.
Your employer will need to get a new labour market opinion for your jobs to prove that he advertised your jobs, that he's offering market wages and no Canadians applied. Because of the economy, he may not be able to get it. Service Canada can either say that he's offering too low wages or that they don't believe he couldn't find anybody if a lot of people are unemployed in that area.
If he does get a labour market opinion, you can apply for a work permit but then you have to prove things like for example that you will return to your home country after 2 years. Since you already did once, I think they should trust you but they really do not have to give you a reason why you are denied. |

The Customs and Immigration authorities are not required to give you a reason. In fact, I have never heard of a reason ever being given. |
