What are your thoughts on putting illegal immigrants in the Army?

I don't think it's a very good idea. What if one group of illegal immigrants that comes is a single mother and her very young children. Do we force her to go into the army? What of the kids? Forcing people to fight and possibly die or go back to a country where they might not haven enough money for food is just wrong. That would be like a draft.

Well if the politicians won't do the right thing and make everyone here come here legally, certainly giving back to our country in any form is better than none.

sure there are bad ones, but most of these awful awful illegal aliens are just folks trying to find a better life. if you lived in mexico, youd do the same thing. blame your government, the men ones who are bombing women and children in your name, because they let these folks in. theres a camera on every street corner but none on the border. why? 3 words: north american union. please stop judging people that are just like you except they werent lucky enough to be born north of the rio grande. oh and as for the keyboard warrior comment: are you in the military, sweetie????????

I definitely think that anyone who puts their life on the line for this country should be granted citizenship.

At this point however, I'd just be happy if they would just speak English to become a citizen. I think that should be a stipulation before they even apply.

Ignorant!!!!! they do have the option to go to the army and, the worst part of is that, when they go to the army the army promises the opportunity to get them legal documentation but its all b.s (please to all you undocumented people do not go to the army for that reason)and why are you attacking Mexicans and south Americans you should go to the army and defend the country you are so proud of with your point less war.

actually, i was in the army a year ago, and i had to help recruit people in LA and most of the people that wanted to join were illegally here. There is no way you can join the Army when you ave committed any sort of crime and if you don't have papers, so i don't think they should be allowed to join since many people have been denied entry to the army for other crimes. we cant keep awarding them for the crime they have committed. it'd not fair for people who are here legally and can't join the army, or citizens that can't join and for people like myself who came here legally and citizens that can't get the same benefis and help they get.

B. Send the illegal aliens back into their home country.

The illegal immigrants will continue to corrupt America. We allow
anyone to come in here, pop out babies like machine guns, (bonus
check for welfare, which means more money) and allow anyone born here
to become automatic U.S. citizens. Think of the U.S. as a small jar.
Think of the world as a massive glass container. The marbles
represent the people...as long as you try to put more and more in
from the large jar (represents the entire world), to the small jar
(U.S.), eventually, it will start overflowing. That is what is
happening...overpopulation is HUGE right now. The rate we are going
at, we won't ever be able to build enough roads, houses, schools,
hospitals, etc., the way we are growing. The economy is bashed every
single year. I have no idea how much the budget is for illegals, but
it has to be billions, even trillions of dollars. They come here, get
free food, health care, rob from Social Security, live off of
welfare. The more kids they have, the more checks they get, so why
not have eight to ten kids? The financial burden is horrible...no
telling how many trillions these illegals are costing us yearly. How
do we stop this crisis? Well, just take the benefits away. If we
didn't have all the FREE things to offer, they wouldn't be coming
here. The education...HAVE ALL BOOKS IN ENGLISH. Don't let the
illegals get college education...take them back to Mexico if they
can't get citizenship (it's not like it's hard in the first
place...it may be a long process, but not hard.) The unemployment
rates will continue to rise because they come here, don't work or
anything, get everything for FREE, so why should they work...they
just get everything handed to them in the first place. If they get
paid to sit on their butts eating burritos all day instead of
working, why not? Bringing more people in to take jobs...BS! If a
legal U.S. citizen needs a job bad enough, he/she will do whatever
they have to do to get that extra money. If you can't handle the
answer, don't ask the question.

No it is not fair to make lawful citizens serve next to illegal alien criminals. I wouldn't want to rely on them and either would most service men and women. Deport them and let them apply.

Let me get this straight you want to give automatic weapons to:
1)criminals
2)people who have broken our laws
3)people who do not speak English
4)people who are threatening to take over our country
5)people who have already taken over US cities (LA for example)
6)people who will not fight for their own country but run to a safe place
Number 1 You never give weapons to criminals
Number 2 You never give weapons to people who are already breaking the law.
Number 3 You never mix armed men who can not communicate with each other. It is a deadly situation.
Number 4 You never give weapons to your sworn enemy.
Number 5 You do not give better arms to people who have taken over part of your country.
Number 6 These people chose to be here illegally rather than to stay and try to fix their own country this is a bad sign for a person in the army. Run once, Run again!

its like someone who robed a store...will u let them get away with it...no that would be stupid. u make them work for free becouse of the law they broke and the money that was taken
