I'm getting SERIOUSLY miffed at paying 40 per cent tax through running my OWN business just to have some government TW&T hand it to these lazy free-loaders !

England now practices sharia law. England is a little too tolerant of immigrants, plus France has a pretty harsh rule about deporting them. They sometimes gag them and cuff them and fly them underguard on public airplanes. There is some complaints about human rights violation in deportation. PLus I heard Tesco loves to hire illegal immigrants. FOr Americans here, Tesco is the ENglish Walmart. |

Whatever we may say about it, Britain has a reputation in many parts of the world for being Great Britain. By comparison with some of the countries they come from, we live like kings (or we used to). We could take pride in our high standards and values, our freedom of speech and our enviable justice system. We like to sneer at ourselves, but we do not appreciate what we have. Unfortunately, in our haste to appease a highly vocal minority of the politically correct we rush to unravel those institutions and overturn those very values that have attracted the immigrants here in the first place. |

And Britain is seen around the world as being free and easy so consequently France is their last stopping off point before entering Britain.

Probably the free housing, free health-care, free legal advice, and free money towards the upkeep of all their children. The UK has more human rights than anywhere else on earth it seems. France has stricter immigration laws, and tries to limit the amount of people it allows in. The UK has chosen not to do that. :-) |

Many already have relatives here so they know there will be family to look out for them and show them the ropes.
Since one cleric has already stated that he and his people "will not rest till they see the flag of Islam flying over Buckingham Palace" England is obviously destined to be the "New Pakistan" instead of the "New Jerusalem".
Once the anti-Royalists have managed to oust the Royal family tradition, there will be an obvious gap for some other power to step in and take control.
It will be relatively easy to keep these islands under religious control, as Henry VIII discovered, rather than to attempt to control a whole Continent like Europe, or a Country like France with other Country land borders.
My family have already left England because they are worried about how the tide is turning and have no wish to see their children and potential grandchildren (girls in particular) living under strict Religious rule. |

it cannot be the benefits for France has the same offers to citizens and legal and illegals,
so? it must be that the illegals have some family member already in the UK,and President Sarkosy,has tightened immigration laws but? these people are already in Europe,so? they definitely want to join others in the UK.
otherwise? why would they wait in France as they do,and not stay in France? they have done the worst part of their journey,but still need to cross over to the UK. |

The reason why illegal immigrants are attracted to UK from France or anywhere else, is because they quite rightly know that we will help them. This does not make us a soft touch, because these illegal immgrants will be put in a camp somewhere, fed and watered etc and will have to wait a very long time for their cases to be reviewed. Very few will ever get to stay here in UK, in spite of public opinion on the matter.
In plain English = ENGLAND, NICE PEOPLE.
Waves of immigrants have flocked to UK because it is a land where the people are FREE and can follow their dreams. We have this here in UK in spite of the constant trumpeting of same from the USA. We have ancient laws banning slavery from the 12thC we have a Bill of Rights which is 100 years older than the American version.
These illegal immigrants are coming from countries where people are persecuted just for having the wrong hair-do. Here in UK we don't give a damn and if someone wants blazing red hair, be my guest. It's that sort of British madness which attracts people to our ancient Island.
