I have the UK residence and I want to apply for British Citinzynship but i have a problem, my details such as the DOB in incorrect on my residence document so is it possible to change to my real DOB when i apply for citinzynship? if so. how to do it

You should've changed the wrong details long ago, and not now!
You must contact the passport and idetity department telling them about it and showing the correct DOB on other certified legal documents. If they think it's your fault that the DOB is wrong, they will ask you to pay a certain fee to issue you a new document, but if it's their fault then they will change it for free.

''If you wish to correct an error in the details on your travel document, you should send us the incorrect travel document, evidence of the correct details, and a letter explaining what the error is. You will not have to pay a fee for your replacement travel document unless we find that the error was not our fault, in which case you will have to pay the full fee before we can issue a new document.'' |
