It is not America's responsibility to take in every 3rd world inhabitant who is unhappy. They come with their hands OUT and give nothing back.

Our forefathers were grateful for the opportunity to come to America. They worked hard, paid income taxes, Learned English, Became Citizens and participated in communities. They contributed greatly to the growth of the USA ...all without the help of welfare, food stamps and section 8 housing.

I mean, my God, they are getting all of our welfare, getting food stamps, getting free education (yet they can't speak a damn word of English), and complain that they have no rights?? Where I live in California they're getting LOTS of governmental aid - free housing, food stamps etc etc etc.

illegals need to be prosecuted along with anybody that employs them ..the employer should be fined and have his business license revoked.than the Alien should be deported.If a child has been born on American soil from illegal immigrant the child is clearly American under the constitution our tradition and current laws..In this case a special committee or commission to look and see if the parents qualify for citizenship.Remember this child is guaranteed protection under the constitution and has every right to live in the USA

Well, they're illegal for starts. They don't contribute except when working in the field, yards or homes. Therefore, I like the idea of work permits knowing they'll get back south or elsewhere when they have accomplished their task.

They bleed our medical system. UMC hospital had to close all of its "free" programs because of the drain. No more maternity care to the Mexican. Thank God, I say.

They need to go home. They won't learn our language, and they are infesting our school system and hospitals. American tax payers are paying for them to have multiple babies, and for education, etc. Are they thankful? No, they act like we owe it to them somehow. Ridiculous. Go home and apply for a visa, learn the language and then come on over - legally!
Please inform Mr. Trucalent that the illegal ones don't speak English so it's pretty obvious.

1st I dont think that you would be starving unless maybe if you where in the deepest darkest Africa and even then I doubt it.We have higher standards then those 3rd World countries ,so yes if you went now you probably would starve to death.But please don't tell me that people in our border countries are starving.Lacking the MacDonald's,and other fast food yes but not starving.That I think is a myth that is thrown to us in the USA to justify illegals coming here.Now this is only my opinion I could be wrong but I still no matter what think that coming here should be done legally and if they are excepted then fine. No problems but we know that most don't even try to do it legally they just one day come here and then it isn't long till they are in some kind of trouble or we are taking care of them or their off springs.I wonder if their country would be so kind to us if we went there and done the things that they have done in our country.My guess is no......

They are people that are just looking for a better opportunity for themselves and their families and still the burning question if the illegals are so poor and hungry why do they continue to expand the family ? Do these folks even think about what will we do in 9 months now that we ourselves cannot eat but we decided to bring forth life to encounter the same experience.When does it end ? Where is the moral obligation at on part of the illegals who make families they already know they cannot feed ?And if you are that hungry you could not walk hundreds of miles just on water only can't be done thats the law of nature can't be any other way

ok first of all i find every single person on here who says that mexicans or illegals need to go home absolutely disgusting. not one person who lives here now has family that was originally born here. we are all products of immigration. the white people came here and STOLE this land from indians and guess what MEXICANS!!!!!! u people are ridiculous. and to the person who said they need to take their kids with them. i am white and i have a 4 month old baby with a mexican. my child has every right to live here... and that goes for any other child born here. dont judge the children for what their parents did. my boyfriend came here to help his parents build a home. they never had their own home and he wanted to come and help them out for everything they did for him. all u racist and judgemental people disgust me. its ridiculous that in this day so many people can still be racist. if they were all to go home today what do u think would happen to our economy... u think it would be better.... they spend their money here. they pay rent, buy cars, gas, food, everything we do.... our economy would be so much worse. maybe we should all take a moment and think why they have to come here... maybe instead of going places we shouldnt be we should go to the countries that need our help like mexico. if our govnt couldve used all the money they wasted in iraq and helped out mexico.... then we wouldnt have so many illegal immigrants here... i swear all u people make me so sick

i think they are very good hardworking people who have more drive and motivation than most Americans and deserve to be here. it amazes me how they come from some of the worst possible situations imaginable, with virtually nothing but themselves, and make a life for themselves and their children in america and do better than some of the citizens of this country, without a SSN when it is almost essential to have one. i find them very humble and have a lot of respect for them

IF I LIVED IN YOUR COUNTRY USA. I wouldn't know who is an illegal immigrant or not , your country is full of different kinds of peoples I don't think you have an official race, your country has only been on the go for 230 years.. They named all the roads by numbers in New York so any one of any immigrants could find their way round...ie 5th Avenue etc.......................

I noticed you asked about illegal immigrants and not illegal immigration.

I think illegal immigrants are mostly good people. Of course there's a few bad apples who commit violent crimes, but you will find those bad apples in any group. I like the work ethic of the Mexican people (who make up the majority of illegal immigrants in the USA). They work hard and work well. Many of us could learn from them. I think it would be better for them to follow the rules and learn to mix with our culture more. However, I think it is mostly our responsibility to build that bridge since we are allowing them to migrate here and paying them for work.

I think that illegal immigrants are often mixed with legal immigrants when discussing illegal immigration. Opponents of illegal immigration are often accused of being anti-immigration or racists, which is far from the truth. Many of us simply want immigration to be regulated and for our borders to be protected. That way everyone can benefit even more from immigration.

They are people that are just looking for a better oppurtunity for themselves and their families. You would do the same thing for your family if you saw the poverty they come from. I do not think we should let them be here but we should handle the situation in a respectable way and not like these self righteous conservatives that always spew out their hate for anybody that is different! Remember there are employers that are using these people for cheap labor and they are Americans!
